Positive: Canhoto is a peaceful place set in a vineyard. Our hostess was friendly and helpful and we loved her home made breakfasts. Having donkeys, chickens and dogs on hand added to our enjoyment. We loved view from the patio and the pool across the Douro valley. The accommodation is very new and a real treat.

Positive: Sandra and her family are incredible! Super friendly and caring, and they communicate well. The breakfast is plenty and had freshly baked goods from Sandra and local products. The rooms are modern, have a great bathroom, and a lovely view. The pool is very nice and the farm with the animals and the vineyard itself bring you to the real Portugese countryside. If we're ever in the area, well definitely book again. Amazing value for money.
