Positive: Great location close to the beach and in a quiet, secluded hamlet. Comfortable and had everything we needed plus our lovely border collie was welcome to stay.
Negative: Please, please maintain outside the property a bit better. Dead plants, uncut grass, empty baskets and weeds around the front entrance do the place an injustice. Constructive feedback :-)
Summary: Quiet, comfortable and convenient for great walks on the beach and nearby nature reserve.

Positive: Everything was just right including the surprise package to get us started with our stay. Would recommend to others. REALLY close to the beach, sand between the toes within 60 seconds of leaving the front door.
Negative: Nothing.

Positive: Perfect location for the Northumberland coastal walk which goes straight past this beautiful little hamlet. Cottage was perfect, very clean and very homely, loved sitting in the conservatory in the evening listening to the sea and watching the birds roosting. Information folder provided has all the information needed for the cottage appliances and local area. We walked from Cresswell to Craster along the coast during our stay and were struck by the friendliness of people, and so many free car parks along the coast.
Negative: The only thing we didn't like was the mattresses were a bit hard, although that's a personal preferance thing. Can't fault anything else.
Summary: Very friendly locals and a beautiful, underrated part of the country. We didn't want to leave!
