Positive: Our stay was exceptional in Susana's place. It is a clean and cozy little place with a nice outdoors sitting area that we seriously enjoyed. The bathroom is a bit small but we got used to it without an issue. The host was really helpful and always open to our questions while being truly discreet. Parking was plenty in the area too. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone especially if they have a car to move around the city.

Positive: Location is absolutely gorgeous. Coimbra is split into two sides by the river, the busy side with the university and the quaint residential side, and this flat is on the residential side. The location is as scenic as it gets - but expect a VERY uphill walk to get there!

Negative: The bathroom is quite tiny and the shower curtain sticks to you because of it. But it is a converted basement so the space limitation is a given & its a really nice use of the space to make it feel spacious.

Summary: Lovely little base in a quaint location in a gorgeous city

Positive: Clean and nicely arranged interior. Easy to find parking space.

Negative: The host does not speak English, and the address in the Booking app does not match the reality. It was difficult to find the property. The automatic translation of the host's message was not helpful. Fortunately, after I called the host on the phone they managed to get hold of a person who spoke English. After some 20 minutes I managed to locate the property and get in. The property has no windows, so you can ventilate only by opening the main door. It is a rather small space attached to a larger villa. Ok for a one night's stay and provided you've got a car (no public transport nearby).

Summary: Small space to stay one night in the outskirts of Coimbra. Easy to park your car.
