Summary: Lovely older, but modern hotel! Large, comfortable room with huge bathroom and shower. The entire staff were wonderful, helpful, and friendly! Made our time in Cape Town special!

Summary: The staff and service was excellent! Be sure to have breakfast - the food and service is impeccable. Our room was very comfortable; the bathroom was upgraded. The V&A Waterfront is walkable (20-25 minutes) during the day. The area around the hotel is quite safe, but being in the CBD there are homeless people begging. The hotel arranged hotel transfers to and from the airport at a reasonable price. Our room was on the street side, so it was a bit loud at night - nothing a white noise machine can't drown out. Easy access to bars & restaurants in the square.

Summary: It’s a good concept but not fully realised and the property seems a little shabby. Staff are nice but the real drawback is the noisy bar attached to the hotel which is super annoying for hotel guests. It does not help the hotel one bit when it comes to creating a welcoming and relaxing space. Perhaps they could turn it into a restaurant instead. Would not recommend this hotel for tourists.

Summary: Everyone was so helpful and provided the ultimate service! I will definitely stay here again and am sending my friends! Their breakfasts were also outstanding! Very well situated for a first time visitor, the hop on/off bus was only a five minutes walk! There is also a huge security presence all over so I felt very safe everywhere.
