Summary: The house was a great size for our family of 5. The 3 and half baths made for less sharing-which is always good. The host always responded back in a timely manner. We walked to the metro everyday about a 15 minute walk. We had a great time seeing the sights in DC. We ate all our breakfasts and dinners at the house so we didn’t have to eat out all the time.

Summary: Communication from owner was excellent, house was clean and check in was easy. Nice added touches with bottles of water and a full tea and coffee bar available on arrival. Owner even provided us some fans as soon as we asked because the AC was needing service and not keeping up in the middle of a heat wave. Biggest downside for us was that the kitchen was not well equipped for cooking (which might be typical for this area because I think people mostly eat out and order take out) but we wanted to make breakfast at the house each morning and there was no cutting board, no tongs, no spatula, only 1 decent skillet, no regular cups (just wine/cocktail glasses and coffee mugs) and only 5 forks (we had 6 people lol). It was a very nice little kitchen area with nice appliances, just not well stocked for cooking. Otherwise, we had a great stay and liked being just a 10-15 minute walk from the Stadium-Armory metro station, and close to other food and groceries, etc. Good location for the price I think.

Summary: This was a good place for rest in between explorations of DC. Worked well for two adults and our adult children-we all had room to spread out. The four bathrooms-three with showers-were very helpful in getting ready in the morning. We appreciated the Roku connected TV with multiple streaming options. Kitchen was very functional and appreciated the coffee and tea supplies. Thank you! For restaurants relatively close would recommend Taqueria Al Lado II and Mozzeria DC.

Summary: Fantastic place! Walking distance to the metro line at the stadium and a grocery store. Two bedrooms upstairs and one in the basement, great for groups with adult children. Went above and beyond with communication and helping us out with our stay. Wonderful experience and I would definitely go back!

Summary: This place is exactly as advertised and communication with the owner was fantastic. The pluses are , The house is newly renovated and clean. It was great for a family like ours with 3 teenagers who need multiple bedrooms/ bathrooms. It’s only 2 miles from the capital building and is under a $15 Uber ride to get anywhere you want to go. Public transportation is easily accessible but we never used it because Uber rides were cheap and easy. There’s also a Safeway supermarket a .5 miles walk away Some things to consider before renting here. For families with smaller children just know that 2 of the bedrooms are on the 2nd floor and the 3rd is in the basement. I’m guessing younger kids and parents of younger kids would not be comfortable using the basement bedroom. Also, although convenient to all attractions you in a city. This location isn’t in the worse area of DC but it’s also not the best. We felt safe walking during the day but i definitely would not want to be out walking around after dark. Like any major city, you hear city noises at night, lots of police cars, ambulances, etc.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay! The fully stocked coffee and tea bar was a plus for us! And there were lots of extras in fridge making it super handy to fix bagels or english muffins for breakfast! Also having a bathroom on each floor was great! We did a little sightseeing, but our group was more concerned about having a place to relax and visit with family we hadn't seen in a long time and this was perfect!

Summary: Check-in was a little rough I had emailed ahead asking if we could check in an hour early but found on arrival we could not access the property, but we got through that. This trip was for me and my three adult siblings and we specifically selected it for proximity to the Smithsonian Museums. And the listing stating 4 bedrooms. After check in we found two actual bedrooms, a fouton in the living room and a bed in the basement with just a bed kinda of in the middle of the floor. The listing also showed 4 bathrooms - actually there were two bathrooms and a very small powder room on the main floor. The master bedroom with an en suite was actually the only bedroom that met expectations. The second upstairs bedroom had two twin beds with very uncomfortable Mattresses and a hall bath with a shower two tiny for an adult. The fouton in the living room was also uncomfortable and one of the slats that support the fouton was broken. We took all of that in stride until the morning of day two we were greeted with mice coming up from the basement. When I contacted the property owner her response was “We’ve never had mice…send me a picture”. Unfortunately the mice were not willing to stick around and pose for photos (smh). I won’t go on anymore…the location and its proximity to the museum was decent. The rest of the stay was disappointing :( to say the least.
