Positive: We loved our stay! We stayed in the cabin right on the beach (sol) Loved the staff (thanks for the great pool drinks Senda) and made use of the Kayaks and enjoyed the yummy continental breakfast.
Summary: Absolutely awesome… even more than we hoped for. Highly recommend.

Positive: The property was beautiful. We had the two bedroom, 2 bath upstairs unit called the hacienda. It was so spacious, large bedrooms with equally large bathrooms. The kitchen was large and well equipped. The living room was a good size, and the couch was large and comfortable. We received the continental breakfast each morning, which was free of cost. The food was well made, delicious and presented well. Our rooms were clean and our spacious patio had a hammock, 2 deck lounges and a high-top bar with 4 barstools. Once again, everything and everywhere was clean! Our patio overlooked to pool and bar below. The staff was SUPER nice and VERY helpful! Everyone made our stay super enjoyable and we were sad to leave. We will definitely be returning next year and booking the hacienda again!!

Positive: Loved the centralized location. Pam, from the office, was very accommodating to our requests. Cornelio and Senda from the bar were both very kind, friendly, and engaging. Our room had snacks available and there was a carafe of drinking water in the refrigerator. The beach lounges on the beach were comfortable and situated under Palm trees that provided plenty of shade. The biggest selling point is that this is an adults only hotel.
Negative: I wish the bathroom had counter space; however, the kitchenette had a spacious countertop that we were able to use during our stay.
Summary: Should we decide to return to Placencia, we will definitely stay here again.

Positive: We really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was wonderful, friendly and helpful staff, nice location and easily walkable to nearby attractions. The rooms were gorgeous and very spacious. They even had a guard on duty in the evenings and drink service available all day. Would stay again!
Negative: No complaints!

Positive: This place was absolutely fantastic in every way! As you enter the cabanas you immediately enter a mini paradise with thatched roofs, a clean pool, adorable pool bar, kayaks, bikes, paddle boards, and individual cabanas. The beach is wonderfully clean and quiet with loungers and hammocks. They rake daily and do treat the sand so no pesky sand fleas on our visit. But what was even better was all the little things! They provided umbrellas, bug spray, sunscreen and lotion all stationed in their outdoor lobby. They provided beach towels replenished daily. Just when you think that is all fantastic, it gets better. The staff!! I cannot say enough about the staff! The manager, Pam, took our 10/10 to a 20/10. She was absolutely lovely. She helped with everything from setting up excursions to making dinner reservations. She always had a beautiful smile and a wonderful sense of humor. She was always sure to make our experience even better than it already was. By time we left, she was like family! And her staff always had a smile! From Senda to Emir to Michelle-absolutely precious. This staff went out of their way to make your stay magical. They provided everything from drinks to breakfast to clean rooms. We even enjoyed a great Mojito mixer with yummy drinks and appetizers with our fellow guests. Our room, Villa Playa, was comfortable and included a king size bed, plenty of pillows, a dresser, chair, tv, nightstands, a microwave, coffee maker, coffee, and a fridge. The bathroom vanity was somewhat small, but it does have a cabinet and shelf below to store your items. They provided bathrobes and daily towels. The shower was roomy and best of all, nice, hot water! My only suggestion here would be to provide bathrobes and daily slippers as the floors are tile and can get sandy. The cabanas are pretty much at the end of the sidewalk and in my opinion, a perfect location.
Negative: There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about this place. I’d absolutely stay here again and again.

Positive: We had an amazing experience. All of the staff were personable & worked hard to make our stay memorable. The front staff were so friendly, even after working late multiple days. They even made us Johnny cakes because we mentioned we wanted to try them. The bar tenders were kind & personable. The kitchen & house keeping were always smiling & nothing was too much for them. The beach is clean, the rooms are exactly what you see in the photos (clean, quaint). It will be hard to ever stay in a hotel or condo after staying here. We felt so safe & had a sidewalk away from the street that lead us to all the restaurants (all within walking distance). If you get a chance, book a boat charter with Clearwater charters. Matthew & Priscilla create an amazing day fishing, snorkeling & catching lobster for a personal beach picnic. It was more than we could’ve ever asked for.
