Positive: Great location , very clean, nicely appointed with a good continental breakfast, evening smores.
Negative: Didn't like that our bathroom was detached but that would not deter me from staying here again.

Positive: Great location, close to ferry, shopping and restaurants on Nantucket. Really friendly and helpful owner and staff. Nice breakfast and close to bike rental shop to tour the island.
Negative: Very small room (felt like 6x12 feet) that was rather pricey. I stayed over Memorial Day weekend, so this was expected.
Summary: Very comfortable and charming bed and breakfast close to everything on Nantucket.

Positive: Room was by perfectly spaced for our party of three. Super helpful staff and communal spaces were nicely spread out. My grp. loved the fire pit with smores, blankets and comfy seating Beach shuttles were down the block and made being central very easy. Liked that there’s filtered water always available and nice coffee/tea set up in room. Healthy options and assorted juices for breakfast.

Positive: The owner was lovely and most helpful. The Inn has a lovely feel to it.
Negative: Bookings.com advertised a room with a bathroom and that was what we expected. The room did not have a bathroom and toilet on suite. The bathroom for that particular room was separate and you had to go into the passaage to get to your private bathroom. The advertising was misleading on Bookings.com website. Other websites e.g. Expedia, show that the room has a detatched bathroom.

Positive: Our family of 3 (two adults and a toddler) had the most amazing long weekend in Nantucket thanks to The Carlisle House. Jeneane was a wonderful host; welcoming and resourceful. She greeted us most mornings at breakfast and engaged our two year old in some friendly banter, so we could get a few bites of our breakfast in. Our room, Nantucket Suite, was the perfect size for our family and we enjoyed the perk of our own entrance and private outdoor seating area. We simply loved it all and will be back for years to come! :)

Negative: I discovered I was on the third floor. I have balance issues due to an accident. Getting to my room was tough. Staff could not give me an alternate room due to other bookings.
