Summary: There were very few options in town available when we booked. The Carmel inn had the friendliest service at both check in and check out. The rooms were cleaner that I anticipated they would be. The downside was the bed that I thought was a queen was actually a double. Life goes on.

Summary: Room was clean enough for what we needed. Did the bed bug check and mattress was dirty. Mattress was not very comfortable so woke up with a sore back. Pillows sucked. But you get what you pay for and the price was in our budget.

Summary: My stay served its purpose. Room were clean, the bed was comfortable, but facilities are dated. The off hwy location was noisy. The restaurant was convenient and the 10% hotel stay coupon appreciated. I would probably look at other locations for my next visit now that I know the area.
