Summary: Our apartment was very simply and tastelessly furnished. Some of the furniture was very old (especially the kitchen, wardrobe, etc.). The bathroom was renovated, but very small. It was okay for one night, but not suitable for a longer stay in our opinion. The price-performance ratio was not good. We would choose different accommodations next time.

Summary: This stay exceeded our expectations! We were just looking for a convenient spot near the airport for an early flight, but this place was such a pleasant surprise. It was incredibly clean, thoughtfully stocked with extra toiletries, and even had some snacks waiting for us. Honestly, we wish we had booked more than just one night. Highly recommend!

Summary: Giorgos and Maria, our hosts, were incredible. They welcomed us without hesitation despite the late hour, and their warm hospitality made all the difference. The room was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with filtered water and a Nespresso-style coffee machine—small touches that made the stay even more enjoyable. Free street parking was also a great perk since we had a rental car. We were so happy with our stay that we returned again a few days later to rest before our early-morning flight home. Just a short 5-minute walk away is an amazing local grill house, Κοκκινη Πιπερια (“Red Paprika”), which we highly recommend. Carpe Diem is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a well-priced, convenient, and welcoming place to stay near the Athens airport.

Summary: Owners were great, easy to communicate with, easy check-in. The apartment had everything we needed. This is not a touristy part of town, more of a working class area that happens to be near the airport. Not near any Athens sites but was great for us because we had an early flight the next day and airport access was easy.
