From the cosy seating arrangement in front of the fireplace, the outstanding dining table that sits eight to the enjoyable seating arrangement in front of the TV, it allows a fantastic bay view through the enormous picture windows. The horizon seems within one's reach, bringing enjoyment and light.
From the living you have access to one of the terraces with a chill-out area, the BBQ, and an outside table that sits eight persons. There is an awning to protect you from the sun while eating and the views are truly spectacular.

Summary: This property is as amazing as the listing indicates. The views, the pool, the bedrooms and living areas and kitchen were perfect. The best equipped kitchen I’ve ever seen in a rental: spices, sharp knives, white and red wine glasses and champagne flutes, and plenty of dishes. The host left a generous welcome basket. The outdoor spaces were very comfortable. We rented the house intending to spend full days there and not leave and we were not disappointed. Great location, easy drive to Malaga and Granada and local villages. The host was extremely responsive with everything from house questions to local dinner spots. Definitely 5 stars

Summary: This was perhaps the loveliest holiday villa we have stayed at. Perfectly sited with spectacular views of the Herradura Bay, it was spacious, comfortable, attractively furnished, well appointed and maintained and provided with all the necessary equipment and utensils. The swimming pool was very attractive and larger than we anticipated. There were several outside areas in which to have a glass of wine while enjoying the scenery and dine al fresco. The house was well positioned in a quiet location but within 5 minutes drive/20 minutes walk of the delightful village of Herradura, although it was a steep climb back. Patricia was very helpful, easy to contact and welcoming, with a generous welcome basket on arrival. Altogether a charming experience and a very enjoyable holiday. (A minor caveat, the front door locking mechanism may be unfamiliar to UK visitors so make sure you carefully read the instructions Patricia has provided).

Summary: Great layout and setting, stunning views over town and well equipped. Only slight drawback was walk down into town, no obvious quick routes and tougher coming back, we did use taxis in the end in the evenings which was easy enough. Highly recommend this villa.

Summary: Lovely villa, is as shown in pictures. Nice comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen with plenty of dishes and utensils. Lots of different sitting areas. We had a lovely chilled week 🙂

Summary: After postponing twice because of the pandemic, we finally spent two weeks at Casa Rama del Olivo in September 2021. The villa is well located, has amazing views from both inside and outside, is clean, spacious and excellently equipped with everything you could possibly need. It is private and well screened from the neighbours. Patricia is an excellent and responsive host and the information book for the villa and La Herradura was very helpful. La Herradura is a super resort, we found some excellent restaurants and would have no hesitation rebooking this villa in the future. Thank you Patricia!

Summary: The whole holiday was absolutely incredible with the villa being far better than the pictures tell.. It’s usually the other way round I have found in the past.. There is everything at the house you could possibly need and we thoroughly enjoyed our two week holiday there..The pool area was well used by us all and had lots of fun in and out of the pool. Our favourite part of the house was the outside dining area which is on the same level as the main living area. The views were amazing and we spent most mornings and evenings enjoying them. Patricia the owner has also been amazing with how she dealt us keep having to change dates etc due to Covid.. I highly recommend this villa and we will most definitely return.

Summary: We had an absolutely fabulous stay here in La Herradura, the house was perfect, clean, spacious, had everything we needed (like the abundance of towels was perfect for our big family) and had a fantastic view of the sea and the best sunsets. Patricia was extremely helpful for any questions we had, and it really made our stay all the better. We would definitely love to come back, as it was situated in an ideal location to visit the bigger cities around us.

Summary: We lived in the house for a week beginning of september. We liked the house very much and especially enjoyed the evenings on the lovely terrace. The views are spectacular. The house is very well maintained and furnished tastefully and with huge attention to detail. The town/region is also very pleasant and the beach at Marina del Este was our favorite. Our children also loved the huge pool. Last but not least we enjoyed the friendly and easy contact with the owner.
