Summary: This apartment is located above a garage in central Mission Hills, convenient to shops, bars and restaurants, across the street from a private elementary school. It is spotlessly clean and has plenty of sunlight and fresh air. The access stairs are a bit steep with narrow treads (typical of the time the property was built 100 years ago), but there is a handrail to aid support - be careful carrying your suitcase up and down the stairs. Larry the property manager is friendly and very responsive. The apartment is well equipped for a single person or couple for a short stay. The kitchen area is small and only has a minibar refrigerator, so limited capacity for groceries. The fridge tends to be noisy - that was the only negative.

Summary: This apartment is perfect for a solo traveler or a couple. It is conveniently located on a quiet tree-lined street, walking distance to shops and restaurants. Plenty of natural light, spotlessly clean, nicely updated and a very comfortable bed. Larry the host is very responsive. Ample parking available on the street. Bathroom is "compact" and access stairs may be a bit steep if elderly.

Summary: Beautiful newly refurbished, very clean, and fully equipped apartment. A quality rental in one of the best neighborhoods in San Diego. Super nice host who stays in touch and is easy to contact. It’s a cozy apartment that we will rent again.

Summary: We came to San Diego to visit friends and family in the neighborhood after moving away nine years ago. The apartment was a perfect base for all our activities. The bed was comfy. The kitchen is well equipped. We had many nice walks in the neighborhood.
