Positive: A little off the Camino, but well worth it... The last kms on the road to Casa A Pichona were well marked by road signage, though the final stretch was a little challenging with the last steps directed by a neighbour, through some village street construction. The Casa, an attractive stone building opening directly off the street, houses a beautifully restored interior space that includes a cozy, romantic dining room area that overlooks the garden, orange trees and river below. Meals in the dining room were exceptional; be sure to get the cheesecake, some of the best we’ve had… The entire facility was clean and bright, and a nap after a day’s walking on the Camino was made easier by the comfortable twin beds and easy breezes in our room. One of our favourite stays on the Camino and a very happy surprise, made even better by extremely friendly owners.

Positive: Comfortable hotel in idyllic setting. Evening meal was exceptional - warm goats cheese and walnut salad with a delicious dressing and excellent bottle of wine too. Reatored my strength after a hard day on the camino, i would love to stay again.

Positive: The stuff was extremely welcome. They have helped us with our wet clothes, shoes, and hiking equipment. Breakfast and dinner were both very nice. We had 2 rooms. Both were clean with all essentials and quiet during the night

Positive: The place is excelent and more, in a restored building in an traditional vilage. The rooms are so beutifull and convenient, and the people who own the place is so freindly. there is a small river just outside of the house, and the vegetables are from their garden, wonderfull. the best supper, and a good breakfast. Add a half of an hour to reach Dumbria but worth every minute.

Positive: I had an amazing stay in Casa a Pichona. The staff is attentive and kind, the food absolutely delicious, the room clean and beautiful, with old visible stones, the bathroom quite spacious. But I guess my favourite thing of all was the lovely garden, with places to sit by the river, where you can hear the river flow.

Negative: Nothing really. Can't find anything to complain about!

Summary: A much recommended stop for pilgrims wanting a bit more comfort

Positive: Comfortable, beautiful renovated old house just off the Camino outside of Dumbria. Our best nights sleep on the Camino. Excellent food. Lovely hosts.
