3 Bedroom House in Preston-Potter Hollow

Casa Bella Vista is a very cozy home located on a hill top park like property with stunning views. Wake up and enjoy a cup of coffee on a spring day listening to the birds on the deck while enjoying the spectacular view of the Catskill mountains. Come share the experience!
Enjoy the tranquility of our pond and feeding the koi fish in spring and summer, relax by the fire pit making smores and star gazing at night!
It is located on seven acres in a very quiet area with little or no street traffic.
We are less than a half hour from Windham ski mountain where you can find shops and restaurants.
25 minutes from Greenville which has a full grocery store, Dunkin donut, Rite aid pharmacy, etc.
The house sleeps 6 people with privacy, it has 2 bedrooms with queen size beds, which are conveniently located at opposite end of the house for more privacy, the smaller bedroom has a half bath. The view room has a queen size sofa bed with a sliding door and shade for privacy, it also has a wood burning stove for those cold snow days to cuddle up and get cozy, (instructions on lighting the wood stove is located in view room) it includes a flat screen TV with DVD player with a DVD movie library.
Kitchen it is fully equipped with dishes, pots and pans and all stainless-steel appliances, new washer and dryer. All the comforts of home away from home!
Outdoors we have 2 BBQS, one is coal, and one is propane. (We have propane tank, but we do not have coal) we have a picnic table on the wooden deck for dining outdoors.
Best time for feeding the koi fish is May through October, they are dormant in cold weather! Please do not feed them crackers or any bread they are bad for them! Veggies are OK if there is no koi food in pantry.
Note: There is a binder at the house with local activities and restaurants!

Summary: We had an excellent stay at Casa Bellavista. The property is a lovely setting for any group. We enjoyed spending time on the property day and night. It is welcoming and comfortable with many needs met by the owners from entertainment to cooking in a comfortable setting. It was our second stay and we always leave longing to return.

Summary: Magnificent experience in a delightful setting. The property is expertly set up with all needs met. We could have explored or ventured forth more throughout the weekend, but the welcoming surrounds were a comfort we looked forward to returning to. Summary: First day we arrived and seeing all this property has to offer really took some time, so the fire outside with peace, quiet and seclusion helped to take it all in. Mornings breathing in mountain air is essential to the relaxation we were able to get every moment of our stay. In fact with what we brought with us we didn't need to go into town for anything even though plenty of activities are a short drive away including fruit picking, skiing, hiking, fishing and more! With it's very own Koi Pond in the back it was perfectly picturesque like in a story book. The landscape behind the cabin was open and maintained very professionally. A small one hole golf course made for some interesting putts!! The cabin on the inside had a great blend of modern and rustic design with a bit more rustic. Meticulously clean it sported updated appliances you don't see in many other rentals and it boasted supplies for a variety of things including games and cooking, reading or even some telescope action at night with a clear sky. This property has gone above and beyond citing details into every nook and cranny without going overboard or being distasteful. It is rich in variety, color, comfort and nostalgia. I could not have asked for a better location and better hosts than for Casa Bella Vista and Mike and Lucy. Do not let scarce reviews on VRBO fool you...there have been many who have visited and given high remarks to this absolutely stunning rental. I strongly encourage you to stop searching and get more than you expected and twice what you deserve by staying at this private slice of Eden off the touristy beaten path that is the Catskill area! It is my favorite place i have ever rented and is appropriate for any genre of guest. Mike and Lucy, I don't think you know how much it means to your guests that you are willing to share this beautiful rental and surrounding acreage. That you gave an eye for perfect and are able to help others create such a wonderful, happy and intimate time with each other while staying at your place. From the bottom of our hearts we thank you and look forward to renting again hopefully for a much longer time!!!
