Positive: From the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely perfect. Despite our very late check-in, we were warmly welcomed by Michal, who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. He even surprised us with a pizza knowing that nothing would be open for dinner at that hour, and kindly stocked the fridge with breakfast essentials like eggs, ham, and bread – such a thoughtful gesture. The villa itself is stunning – spacious, modern, and beautifully designed, with air conditioning in every room. The pool was simply incredible and made the perfect backdrop for relaxing and unwinding. What truly set this stay apart was Michal’s hospitality. He was always available to help, whether it was organizing dinner reservations, arranging cabs, or simply making sure we had everything we needed. His warmth and attentiveness made the experience even more special. The value was also exceptional – the villa was huge, giving everyone plenty of space, and it was exactly (if not even better) than what the photos online showed. We would 100% stay here again, and it has officially earned a spot on our favourites list. Highly recommend

Negative: Everything! It has everything you need to stay somewhere for a week or so. From the point you enter the front door it feels like home. The kitchen is well equipped and the bedrooms are very comfortable. There’s a tv in every room❤️

Positive: The house is clean and new. The host(Manos) was very accomodating. Manos gave us list of beaches and restaurant to visits. (If you haven’t made your itinerary yet, he had a long list of places to recommend). He also helped us get a transpo around crete since there was no uber. And, there was a welcoming gifts, and a parting gift from him. He was also very understanding.

The villa has been beautifully renovated—retaining its authentic charm while offering all the modern comforts you could ask for. From the moment we arrived, our host Manos went above and beyond. He welcomed us with an impressive selection of supplies and was always available to offer fantastic recommendations on local dining spots and attractions. His hospitality made all the difference—nothing was ever too much trouble. The villa itself is a sanctuary. It features a gorgeous upstairs courtyard and a spacious ground-level outdoor area with comfortable seating, sun beds, and a sparkling clean pool. It was the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. Despite being just 7 minutes from Chania’s Old Town, the villa felt calm and secluded but still close to the old town and Venetian harbour —a rare balance of convenience and tranquility. The air conditioning kept the whole place cool and comfortable, and everything we needed was provided. This villa is a true gem, and we would recommend it without hesitation. Positive: We spent one week in Casa Benedetta in May 2025. When we arrived (close to 10pm) our host Manos, welcomed us and showed us the house. Our first impression was WOW ! Pictures on site, don’t show it - it’s just great. Three bedrooms - each with dedicated bathroom (shower + toilet), super spacious leaving room joined with kitchen created the big open space which we loved. Upper terrace - great place for evening chill, with view on local residential area. Pool terrace - perfect for sunbathing and grill. Entire property was super clean. Cozy furniture and decorations made us feel like home this same evening! In the refrigerator we found a wine, cheese, olives … great surprise! And of course homemade cake also made us smile next morning :) Location of Casa Benedetta is great, close to local bakery, coffeehouse and market (5min), Trip to old Venetian Port took us 20 min of nice walk. Private parking is also super needed if you think of hiring a car (which is a great option). It was our first time in Crete - but for sure not the last. We’re amazed by this place. Manos is a great person who just knew what we needed, he gave us a tips where to go ( restaurants, beaches, attractions). We felt like we came to our family for vacation :) Tourism is not just about visiting places - it’s also about meeting great people - and we’re supper happy that we met Manos. We want to say big Thanks to Manos for making our trip to Crete unforgettable! Definitely we will go back, not just to Crete - but to Casa Benedetta :)

Positive: Casa Benedetta was the best equipped air bnb we’ve ever stayed in. Manos, our Host supplied a fridge filled with water, juices, eggs, yogurts, cheese, ham, olives. There were also 2 fresh baked cakes and a bowl of fruit. A pod coffee machine and percolator as well as a range of teas and fully equipped kitchen. Everything was new and clean. Dishwasher, washing machine and pool.
Negative: We loved everything about the property. Sadly during our stay the weather was cold rainy and windy but that didn’t dampen our enjoyment.

Positive: Great place, exactly as the photos show. Manos was very helpful in both providing supplies for our arrival and ample essentials throughout the home. It was my birthday whilst out there and he arranged a reservation at a restaurant along with a birthday cake which he paid for. We loved out stay, sun was perfect for the roof terrace and area was nice and quiet at night. Walk into town was around 20 mins but was worth it for the place.
Negative: Minor thing would be to have some sunloungers

Breakfast outside was delightful and drinks on the up terrace amazing. The house was super clean and the host a genuine wonderful human being. Highly recommended.

Positive: This is a newly refurbished house all done at a very high standard. The property is really beautiful everything is functional and it is spacious. It is ideal for a small group of travellers . You will have three bedrooms and three bathrooms which is awesome. The owner will be really welcoming he will provide all you need for a comfortable stay.
Negative: Nothing , however there will be a walking of around 30 minutes from the house to the old port, but this will be so good to burn the calories after so much delicious Greek food .
