4 Bedroom House in San Juan del Rio

The house has 4 bedrooms. 3 of them on the first floor, each with a private bathroom and a large closet. Two of the bedrooms on the first floor have a full bed and the third bedroom has 2 twin beds. The master suite, has a king size bed, located on the second floor, it has a walk-in closet and a bathroom with shower. The master suite also has a large balcony with table, umbrella and chairs, overlooking the lake and golf course. The house has southern exposure, large windows, and great views of the lake.
High quality linens, furniture and kitchen accessories to make a feast or just snacks for the family. We hace a water purifier for drinking and cooking water.
The kitchen is equipped with many accessories and some spices, coffee, tea and sugar. The living room, dining room, reading area, are have access and view to the lake. The laundry patio has a full washer and dryer. One of the bedrooms is located in the patio it has a private bathroom and independent access.
The front yard has a 1 space carport. There is room next to the carport for a second vehicle.
The home is on a the cul de sac, the street is very quiet and perfect for morning walks.
The backyard faces the lake and has direct access to the lake, just a few steps to make your feet wet! There are 2 kayaks and a row boat on the property, and all sizes of life jackets, fishing is permitted as long as it is done from the property. Swimming of the back yard is refreshing all year. Gas motors are not allowed in the lake.
In this high end community, maintenance of common areas is impeccable and security systems are constantly updated. All new construction has to follow a strict building code that includes the outside design in a modern colonial style; bricks, stone, wood a white stucco is required so that there is a community feel to the neighborhood.
San Gil is one of the safest and most beautiful places to live and to spend your holidays or just a romantic weekend. Close to Bombardier, Arkansas State University and other important industries and corporations. Also close to wineries, Queretaro, San Miguel de Allende and the very charming town of Bernal and many historical sites.
Wineries nearby offer very fun and interesting tours of their facilities. Santiago de Querétaro is a beautiful Colonial city, that has amazing history, fun museums, great restaurants, beautiful wineries, amazing breweries, just a 30 minute drive from the house. Summary: We really enjoyed our stay! The house is very nice, well equipped, with an excellent distribution of the rooms and a gorgeous view of the lake. The master bedroom is fantastic and there is a 4th full bedroom to use. San Gil is a beautiful and safe neighborhood with a Club House that serves delicious meals for a good price. There are plenty of great places to visit in the area, don´t miss San Miguel de Allende, Tequisquiapan, Bernal and Mansion Galindo. We would love to go back.

Summary: I wish I could say there's places like this one in Chicago but there isn't. This place is isolated enough for our family to disconnect from the life in a big city yet close enough to town to not lack any of the amenities. Cristina was quick to reply and help us out all throughout our trip and I hope we get to stay with her again. The place was clean and well upkept in a gorgeous location that made our family feel safe and comfortable. Gracias Cristina!

Summary: We want to thank Cristina for all the help we received from her. The house was just gorgeous, lots of details, clean, everything working perfectly, much more of what we expected. The lake view is beautiful, specially the sunsets. San Gil is a great place to rest and the surrounding towns are a treat. Summary: My wife and I stayed here for just under four weeks and we loved it. We walked around the lake almost every day (70 minutes total), ate outside both by the lake and on the balcony, and were really able to unwind and recharge. With the wifi I could work every day. Shopping for groceries in San Juan Del Rio was easy, and if we needed something small there are stores in San Gil that sell food, vegetables, cheese and pizza (they deliver). We enjoyed eating dinner at Campo Bravo, Galindo, and Corral de la Vaca, all reasonably priced with excellent food. For breakfast we ate at the Club House in San Gil overlooking the lake. We rented a car and driving around was easy with the MapQuest app. We recommend this place and we will return! Thanks Cristina--your attention to detail and commitment to perfection shows!

Summary: My wife and I had the opportunity to get out of Queretaro for one night and experience a romantic getaway. The house is in a gorgeous and isolated country club called San Gil, a 20min drive from the big city “Queretaro.” We were treated promptly at arrival to this community and ended up grabbing snacks, drinks and groceries for one day at the local store, which I’m happy to say it had everything we needed. The drive into the house was scenic and soothing, something about the air there seems just magical. Upon arrival at the house we were delighted to see the place, the pictures don’t do it justice as the view from the main room is outstanding. Cleanliness didn’t disappoint either as the house had the smell of new and fresh! We only had the chance to stay for one night but we will surely come back for a longer getaway. Coming by yourself, with your significant other or with your whole family should be fun as there are plenty of green areas and I can only imagine the lake is a playground for kids over the summer, not that it was cold at all over the winter. Communication with the owner was great. This place is a hidden GEM and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting or wanting a getaway. Thank you for letting us stay at your wonderful place and we are looking forward to our next stay. - D. & S.

Summary: We loved staying at San Gil on our recent trip to Queretaro. at first, we didn´t expected it to be so far out from the city, but this turned out to be one of the best features the house has to offer. its location is great if you plan to visit the nearby towns, we enjoyed day trips to san juan del río, peña de bernal and tequisquiapan. getting to this "pueblos magicos" is a short drive from San Gil. The house is beautiful, well kept and its location overlooking the lake makes it all the better, its peaceful and quiet and really lends its self for enoying quality family time. Patricia, the house keeper, is friendly and warm, she even cooked somo seriously delicious pozole for us! We loved our time here and will definetly consider coming back!

Summary: We stayed at San Gil for 4 weeks. We were a family of 6 including my parents. What a great place to stay! The views to the lake and the large terrace facing the lake and golf course were our favorite part of the house, my kids enjoyed swimming on the lake every day. The trail around the park was wonderful to run, so pretty and convenient for the 'elders' to get some nice walks in too. The kids made some friends, San Gil is a friendly place. We felt very safe at all times, San Gil security staff is very efficient, only residents have access to San Gil. The location served us wonderfully, Queretaro the capital city has interesting museums and places to visit within 30 minutes of the property! This house is in great shape, nicely decorated and was extremely comfortable, clean, quiet and easy to enjoy, the cleaning lady was a bless, she knows what to do and gave us some extra hours of rest! Mexico has the best weather! No AC or heat needed, we were able to open the Windows and let fresh air in (what a treat!). The house was very affordable for our party of 6. We opted to have more meals in than we originally planned for since it was so convenient and comfortable to just eat there! The golf course is amazing; We even took some golf lessons. San Juan del Rio the closest city is small and charming has everything we needed, great restaurants, grocery stores, even a Sam’s store! Queretaro and San Miguel Allende are also very close, we never thought this are of Mexico would be so beautiful and affordable, peaceful and eternally sunny! We felt in love with San Miguel Allende and stayed there one night at a beautiful Boutique hotel. Cristina the owner was always available to help and answer to our questions, she does a great job and knows how to make you feel at home. Leaving San Gil was the most difficult part of our trip. Perfect vacation made even better by finding this great rental. C.K.
