Positive: Being greeted to their home as if we were family. The facilities are excellent. The view is amazing. And they have three lovely dogs that made us miss our own dog a little bit less.

Positive: What a joy! After a drive through the beautiful countryside, we arrived at this peaceful, stylish, very interesting, property. Our room was a lovingly renovated old building, decorated in calming whites, soft pinks, and natural tones — with a comfortable double bed, and a wonderful single bed perched above, reached via a set of modern plywood stairs. Outside, we had a table and chairs beneath a grapevine, facing the most amazing lemon tree, and the magical garden..... So tranquil - with just the chirruping cicadas (and some very friendly and extremely well behaved dogs). Breakfast was delicious — served in the hosts' kitchen and enjoyed on the terrace of their stunning main house - beside giant cacti and views of the dramatic canyon. Mario had just baked a sourdough loaf, and lots of the produce comes from what he grows. Homemade marmalade, quince jam, herbs and tomatoes, together with eggs, pancakes, ricotta, cheeses, meats, fruit - varies every day. The area is perfect for visiting the stunning Baroque towns nearby, and the many gorgeous beaches along the coast. Or just sitting at Casa Canyon in the vintage bamboo rocking chair. Mario and Iamena are truly generous and thoughtful hosts, offering great tips for beaches and places to eat, either before the stay or over delightful breakfast chat. The whole stay was peaceful, full of beauty and warmth (and laughs) — just perfect.

Positive: This is beautiful and stylish new house in the countryside near Scicli, but very close to it and Modica. We immediately fell in love with this place, located near a canyon. Iamena and Mario, our wonderful hosts, were always attentive and caring. Breakfast here is also great, with a definite Mediterranean slow living vibe. There are three friendly dogs living here. As dog lovers, we enjoyed their company very much! The room itself is nice and spacious, and the air conditioning system works perfectly. The bathroom is also excellent. We definitely recommend this place to everyone! Thank you so much🥰
