Positive: Great location in the middle of everything you might need for a good holiday! Staff are very helpful! Rooms are quiet and clean.

Negative: WiFi is unstable and slow. Water pressure could be better in the showers.

Positive: Helpful, friendly staff. Very good location for cafes and restaurants. I really appreciated having a TV with a logged in Netflix account and the bed was comfortable. Design-wise, the room provides solid basics: sockets by the bed, a drying rack, a small storage cupboard. The design 'aesthetic' around the property is nice and the pool is very well maintained with perfectly warm water.

Negative: This is a tough one. I don't think Casa Coco lives up to the photos or the descriptions, but it definitely could with a bit more attention to the rooms and grounds. The staff are helpful, so no complaints there. However, my room really needed a deep clean. The night I arrived, the bathroom smelled like sewage (it went away in the morning, and came back intermittently during my 6 nights there), and there were cobwebs in the room along the curtains and in the corner by the bed, some thick enough to suggest they hadn't been cleared out in a very long time. The hotel information sheet mentions a nightly 'turn down' service with mint tea and lavender room spritz, which I didn't experience on any night - and the room definitely could've used a bit of a spritz of something. A larger closet or cupboard would've been handy to hide soiled laundry. The room safe is tiny (barely fits an SLR camera; won't fit a laptop or tablet) with no instructions provided. The bathroom is missing hooks or rails to hang towels and doesn't have a lot of space by the sink for toiletries. Although the pool is well-maintained, the sunbed mattresses are a bit dirty/scruffy.

Positive: I don't normally write reviews, but this is one of the best value places I have stayed in 35 years of international travel. The ambience is extremely relaxing and the staff are fantastic - nothing is too much trouble. Small but nice pool, clean and tastefully appointed rooms, well tended gardens, centrally located. A home away from home. Highly recommended.

Negative: There is some external noise during the day, but that's normal for this part of the world. It never bothered me at night.
