Positive: NIce Room and bathroom. Great condition, size and clean. Great location.
Negative: the A/C didn't work during the peak heat of the day when I checked in. Another guest had the same issue. Also it was obvious that the family running it were just out to make as much money as possible. They weren't very genuine. A shame really, because this tained my stay.

Positive: Super friendly and helpful staff, everything clean. Kettle and fridge in the room. Close to Mangrove Forest, not far from restaurants.
Negative: It’s close to the main road, which is a bit noisy in the morning (quiet at night). The beach in front is not the best to swim in.

Positive: This little gem came as a surprise, right across from the ocean. I am not one for busy tourist areas, so this was perfect for me. Ketut and his wife could not do enough to ensure I had a great time, even taking me into town and about if I needed to. They were so kind and great fun, I was sad to leave. The cabin was spacious and clean with icy cold air-conditioning. I slept so well with the ocean lapping the sand outside. The Beach club just a few steps away was a great way to hang out and have bite to eat and a swim. I have recommended to friends and will be back. Sometimes photos show a glorious place and it is different when you get there, this was the opposite, I stayed longer. The value for money compared to some places was terrific.

Positive: Quiet area of the island, on the sunrise side. The owner was very responsive to any request, offered extra services like motorbike hire, tours. Bed was big and comfortable, great AC. Breakfast was filling - but not healthy!
Negative: Dead cockroaches in the bathroom upon arrival, and a broken showerhead (which was promptly fixed). More cockroaches during my stay, which they were happy to come kill for me. No cleaning of the room during whole stay. Room not noise insulated, so traffic and construction noises could not be escaped
Summary: Nice, but not quite worth $50 a night, in my opinion
