Positive: An oasis on the Camino. We had an amazing room to unwind after a long day walking on the Camino. We were treated to an evening meal with wine by the host Lara which was amazing. Sometimes you just want to chill after a hike and we could not recommend Casa das Raposas enough. A comfy bed and enough cooking facilities if you did want to cook yourself in your studio!

Negative: Nothing to dislike. This was relaxing at its best.

Summary: Amazing accommodation at just the right place with amazing hosts.

Positive: Quaint room right in the Camino which meant it was a good location for us

Negative: May be a minor point but we had walked some distance and not even one coffee was complementary as in other places. Charging was more than in the nearby cafes which seemed steep. Wanted to use the washing machine that is listed as a facility but this was not in the room and again was chargeable which was not evident on the ad. It would be good to have in the ad the expectation to bin used toilet paper as not everyone is comfortable with this and not all will read the reviews thoroughly and should not be left to discover through this way or when arriving and reading the signs. Was not as good value as all other accommodation we have had en route since our start in Lisbon

Positive: Nice room, close.to the Caminho. The owner was very helpful.

Negative: The property advertised a swimming pool but were between changing friom a tempory one to a permanant one. Itnwaant a problem.for us, but if you had had a long walk in the heat you would have been more disappointed.

Positive: What a beautiful room!!. On our way to Fatima on a bike, we choose this place because it was on our route, (blue arrows). What a beautiful and pleasant surprise. The place has everything you need for peregrinos and any other travel. We loved the place . The owners were very pleasant. We definitely recommend this place.

Positive: We loved our room. Beautifully styled with some gorgeous Portuguese antique pieces. Comfy bed. Well equipped kitchen for small meals. Location was great for what we wanted to do. Zambujal is an amazing rural farming village. Walking little bits of the camino de Santiago was lovely and exploring the villages, farming land and local communities was so enjoyable. We even got to like the church bells telling us the time. Thank you so much for this opportunity.

Negative: Our room was adjacent to the owners kitchen. And when exhaust fan over cooktop was used, it was a bit noisy in our room. There was an occasional smell from cooking. Opening windows helped with this. Being an eco friendly house, be prepared for no toilet paper flushed.

Summary: We loved this place. A beautiful very rural part of Portugal
