The Space:
This ninety year old Adobe home has lots of charm and unique touches throughout keeping it true to its form with a few modern touches. Adobe is mud bricks made from the dirt right here in Marfa. It has stood the test of time and keeps the home cool in those blistering hot months and warm in the freezing cold ones.
We’re committed to providing squeaky clean, comfortable living quarters for every stay! We’re opted-in to Airbnb’s advanced protocol for dutiful cleaning. We want you to rest assure that you can relax in comfort without worrying about germs on touch surfaces. We’re going above and beyond to make sure house is cleaned thoroughly between each guest.
ESSENTIALS:
All essentials are provided: Fresh sheets, extra pillows, towels, toilet paper, cups, bowls, utensils, soaps, body wash, shampoo/conditioner, paper towels, blankets, wifi, coffee and so much more.
KITCHEN:
Fully equipped kitchen to cook or just make cocktails. Full refrigerator with freezer. Ice trays provided in freezer. Several pots and pans to cook most dishes. Plates, bowls and lots of glassware. Spoons, forks, knives and all sorts of assorted utensils are provided. There are two coffee pots: one automatic and one French press. Ground coffee is always stocked.
PRIMARY BEDROOM:
The primary bedroom has one queen size bed, two bed side tables, a large TV, a standing mirror and walk-in closet with robe, extra fan and ironing board. The door way into the main bedroom shows how thick the adobe bricks are keeping things cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The back room is private even with a curtain door.
GUEST ROOM:
The second bedroom has two twin beds, one bed side table (centered between the two), one chair for sitting and a medium closet with a fan, robe for lounging and hangers for your clothes. The two windows are covered with delicate white shades and shear curtains allowing the light to fill the room when its time to wake.
New mattresses and foam toppers have been added to all three beds. Four hundred-thread count cotton sheets and duvet covers as well.
AC/HEAT:
Central air which provides hot and cold air. We’ve also just added a H13 HEPA filtered Air Purifier to clean the air for every guest.
OUTSIDE:
Light the fire pit and live in or out! There are four wooden outdoor chairs for lounging by the fire pit. Or enjoy your meals outside on the metal table with four matching chairs under a string lit ambiance. Pop open the umbrella for shade in the summer. Enjoy reading a book in one of the hammocks under a cedar pergola in the backyard or on the front porch.
FRONT PORCH: Enjoy margaritas in the evenings on the front porch while rocking away in the cast iron chairs. Fall asleep in the hammock forgetting about all those emails you need to send.
BATHROOM: The bathroom is cozy with walk-in shower, toilet and vanity. In the wicker drawers you’ll find a blow-dryer as well.
WIFI:
Fiber internet which is super fast and amazing! Take Zoom meetings with ease and enjoy streaming multiple devices at once. It rocks!
PETS:
You can add up to three pets max in the “Guest Total” section. If you have a service animal you will not add pet to “pet total”. Please send photo of service pet papers. All non-service pets are $40 per stay with three (3) pets max.

Guest Access:
The entire house and yard is available to guests. The backyard is fenced in with the exception of a few openings that do not have gates yet. However, we’ve put up barriers to prevent furry friends from escaping.
The Neighborhood:
El Cosmico back entrance is just 3 blocks up West Waco, Capri is just behind the house about a stones throw. Walk to Planet Marfa, Food Shark, St. George, Stellina, Al Campo, Bar Nadar, Squeeze, Do Your Thing Coffee, Paisano or pretty much anywhere in town! Rent an eBike and tour the town! Be sure to make reservations during the busy seasons.
Getting Around:
Walk or bike! No need to drive cops will pull you over so just walk to the bar! Parking is a plenty if you do choose to drive.

Please only well trained pets! There is a $35 pet cleaning deposit PER PET PER STAY as of 9/21/2020 NO EXCEPTIONS! You can add up to 3 NON-SERVICE pets to your guest list. To find this info look for “guest total” and you will see a section to add pets.
