Positive: 24hr check-in on Christmas eve! Beautiful big room and bathroom, super friendly staff 😄 came here last minute after another venue failed - they saved us!

Positive: Hotel Saint George is in a great location and offers nice amenities: a seasonal offsite pool, a full offsite gym, free coffee until 9am, Aesop skincare products, a good restaurant (basically the only place open for dinner in Marfa), and local art throughout the building. Some of the front desk folks were also exceptionally friendly.

Negative: Unfortunately, Hotel Saint George's walls are extremely thin. I got no sleep my first night because a rude neighbor blasted their TV all night and my second night another rude neighbor allowed their dog to bark for hours. It took some haggling, but the hotel offered a 20% discount and a new room (on the top floor) my second night to improve my stay.

Summary: Nice amenities but make sure you stay on the top (4th) floor! Walls are very thin

Positive: The staff was wonderful and accommodated me as I was heading into town on Thanksgiving day. They had a Thanksgiving meal that was sold out and being I was solo opened a seat for me to sit at the bar. It meant a lot. I hung out at the bar during the evenings and spoke with the bartenders and guests. The staff is wonderful and friendly and recommended some choices in food which was phenomenal! The room was very large and gorgeous and clean. Walking around town was easy as the location is very central. I would hands down book again the next time I am in the area.
