Let Casa De Jefe be YOUR home in Cozumel. Located just north of the main plaza and one block back from the beautiful Malecon, Casa De Jefe makes the perfect base of operations for your Cozumel adventure. Don’t waste your time in an impersonal hotel; feel at home in our home in Cozumel. A top floor unit with vaulted ceiling, this 3 bedroom, 2 bath unit has room to spread out and relax. The master suit features a king size bed and huge closet with a safe. The attached master bath has two sinks, so there is no arguing on vacation. The glass walled shower is large enough to share too! The first guestroom, the blue and white room, features a comfy queen bed and the other, the green room, features two twin beds. A hall bath with a large glass walled shower is between the two bedrooms.
Casa De Jefe features a fully equipped kitchen with gas oven and stove, fridge with ice maker and cold water supplied by bottled water. It has all the stuff you need: juicer, blender, toaster, coffee maker and bottle opener! With all the great inexpensive restaurants nearby, you may just want to use the microwave to warm up the leftovers. Hey, why cook in paradise, but if you want to, it is all there. Even better, Casa De Jefe has a full size washer and dryer! Pack light and just wash your clothes. No one will notice you wearing that same flowered shirt twice in the same week! Each bathroom is stocked with fluffy high quality towels and in the laundry room you will find additional beach towels. Each bedroom has its own mini-split air conditioning as well as the one for the shared area. Of course, being on the top floor you can often open the windows and enjoy the tropical breezes.
It is great to unplug on vacation, but if you are like me, you like to stay on the grid. Casa De Jefe features DSL Wi-Fi for your use. In addition to a local landline phone, we have a Vonage phone that will allow you to talk to the States and Canada as much as you want. (or as little ?) Friends and Family can call for the price they would pay to call Pennsylvania. (You don’t have to answer…) We have a couple of power strips to charge those electronic as well as a cord to connect your IPod to our small stereo.
Additionally, Casa De Jefe has a nice covered patio sitting area with a ceiling fan and ringed with plants – a nice place to relax in the evening or watch your family in the pool during the day. A large pool is there for your use and usually quiet. It has a nice shady palapa so you can sit by the pool out of the sun to enjoy a good book or a nap.
The complex features a gated parking area so your car, if you rent one, is secure as well as night time security staff. The area is safe and well lit for nighttime strolls. Located on the edge of the action, the area is peaceful at night, but you are a short walk to the nighttime action. There is a small public beach about one block north along the water with a beach club restaurant. South of the condo, restaurants and shops are everywhere. Summary: We were looking for a place to stay to comfortably fit our family of 6 within walking distance from the ferry. Little did we know what a great location this would end up being. It was so close to many great places to eat. The grounds were beautiful and the staff works hard to keep them that way. Communication with Richard was easy and he was always quick to respond and was helpful. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the condo was perfect for our needs - lots of room, comfortable A/C, high speed reliable WiFi and a nice kitchen. We enjoyed the pool area on most days and it was easy to walk to the waterfront for a morning stroll, or go to Monino's or Hemingway's for sunset dinner. We also enjoyed the nearby brewery and distillery as well as the Maple bakery. Easy walk to El Centro and Mega, and grabbed a taxi back with our groceries. Would definitely stay here again!

Summary: Our family very much enjoyed our stay at Casa De Jefe! Richard 'El Jefe' provided great communication prior and after booking. The condo was supplied with ample "bottled" water (water cooler on cabinet that provided cold water from what I believed was a 5 gallon source with extra bottled water available to replace if necessary, bottle water connected to sink, and the refrigerator water and ice dispenser was also labeled as water to use). Loved the availability of beach towels and the soft fluffy bath towels that were both plentiful. The washer and dryer came in handy a couple of times. AC made for a comfortable night's sleep. There were nice extra accommodations that were also provided that were not expected. The pool was much enjoyed by my 9 year old, but there's not a gradual entrance. It goes from about 1 foot to maybe 4 foot in one step. Pool itself wasn't very busy just a few nice retirees relaxing on the sides. Location was in great walking distance to multiple beach side restaurants, as well as, neighbors restaurants. I initially was worried on how we would feel walking after dark but we actually felt pretty safe within the few block radious we adventured to after the sunset. During the day time, we walked multiple times to the town center. All three of use gave this VRBO a 10 out of 10! Really looking forward to returning and booking with Richard 'El Jefe' again!

Summary: This Las Ventanas unit has recruiting everything one needs from Wifi to kitchen equipment, and during our 2 week stay we housekeeping 3 times each week. We love the pool and in town location. The property managers are responsive and made sure that we had everything we needed. We will be back!

Summary: Stayed with a larger family group in July and enjoyed it so much that we decided to rent the same unit again for our Dec trip even though there were only 2 of us. Clean well appointed condo with responsive management. Multiple good restaurants nearby (try Cafe de Isla for breakfast or lunch.) Very nice pool.

Summary: In the past 7 years my family has stayed in a number of units in Las Ventanas. Casa de Jefe is the best. The condo is centrally located within easy walking distance of restaurants and shopping. The condo's furnishings are comfortable with a pleasing tropical vibe. The beds are comfortable The kitchen contains all the appliances, dishes, pots and pans and utensil to cook anything. The bathrooms are stocked with nuce toiletries. We love that daily maid service is included. The property managers are fantastic and attentive. They checked in several times to inquire whether we needed anything. Casa de Jefe provided a stress free base for a wonderful vacation. We will be back!

Summary: Highly recommend Casa Jefe if you are visiting Cozumel. It is in the perfect location, close to downtown, walking to restaurants, shopping and malecon. Easy drive to any beach on the island. We loved the patio in the morning and pool in the late afternoon. It was very well appointed and the most comfortable beds on the island. Check in and check out were a breeze and property manager was only a text away if you had any questions and very responsive. We can't say enough good things and look forward to our return visit.

Summary: Super comfortable and clean property. The beds were very comfortable, ACs in every room did the trick to cool the place down. The pool was also awelcome respite after warm afternoons walking the town. The location is very central walk to any downtown restaurant or bar. El Jefe's book about local places was spot on, we didn't use the kitchen much, mostly supported the local economy. Communication was easy with no glitches. We look forward to staying again.
