Casa de Mer villa is a beach-front townhouse in a gated and child-friendly community located in New Providence, The Bahamas. The community offers tennis courts, children's playground and pools. The luxurious townhouse style villa has 3 beautiful bedrooms with 2.5 bathrooms on 2 floors and will sleep 6. The comfortable villa provides the perfect destination for the vacation of a lifetime!
The home is 2,200 square foot on 2 floors of luxury offering several amenities that will make your stay more comfortable and pleasurable, including free wi-fi internet and a beautiful beach with snorkeling. The gorgeous villa features tile floors downstairs and hand laid wood floors on the upper floor. Casa de Mer is air conditioned throughout with central ducted air conditioning on the ground floor and separately controlled AC systems in each bedroom.
The master bedroom features a king size bed, lovely décor and an en-suite bathroom. Step out to the balcony that looks over a beautiful pristine white sand beach and the famous Bahamian waters. There is a second bedroom on the same level and is furnished with 2 single beds. It shares a bathroom with a shower with bedroom 3. The third bedroom on the upper floor is furnished with a queen-sized beds and has an shared bathroom with a full bath an shower. The downstairs floor has a powder room.
The living room is spacious and features very comfortable sofas, lovely art work, beautiful fabrics and tiled flooring. The entertainment system includes a large flat screen offering a wide range of cable tv channels, as well as internet, music. From this room you have an amazing view of the sea right outside your large glass sliding doors. You'll never tire of the view!.
The swimming pool is spacious and is surrounded by an expansive wooden deck. Comfortable lounges are placed on the deck for relaxing after a swim or for simply soaking in the sun. You have your own terrace on your beach complete with table and chairs. The terrace can be a good place for evening drinks or even for a candle lit intimate dinner.
The kitchen at Casa de Mer is fully-equipped with a refrigerator and all essential appliances, and has a fresh and bright look. There is also a laundry closet with washer and dryer.
There are a number of games and activities in the home as well as some beach toys and pool floats for your use. And the WiFi is very good too.
Guests at Palm Cay can simply take a short stroll to the club house and enjoy meals or a drink. The club house offerr a fun music night of most Fridays and barbecue day on Sunday. The marina in the complex offers several water-based activities, such as charter tours, boat rentals, snorkeling and more. There is a Dockside cafe where you can have Starbucks coffee and breakfast.
Casa de Mer villa is located 30 minute drive from Nassau's international airport and a little over 10 minutes from downtown Nassau and Paradise Island. Arrangements for airport pick up to and from the airport can also be made for guests at the time of the booking. There is an extra fee charged by Palm Cay for access to the Member's Pool, Beach and Members Bar. This entitles you to use the Palm Cay Club member's beach, member's bar and the member's pool. Remember too that there is an additional fee paid to Palm Cay for use of gym, water equipment such as kayaks and paddle boards. and tennis equipment. The access fee is optional, If you decide to opt into the programme your fee must be paid to Palm Cay after your arrival. Summary: We had a wonderful stay at Meredith’s! Her home is lovely and the location - on a beautiful sandy beach in a private gated community - was perfect for the quiet and relaxed family getaway we were hoping for. Her home had everything a family needs and she gave great recommendations for restaurants and excursions which made our trip effortless. We highly recommend this accommodation!

Summary: If everyone knew how great this VRBO was then it wouldn't be available for our return trip to the isle because it would be perpetually booked and I wouldn't want that ;). Seriously though, stay here, Casa de Mer is fantastic!

Summary: We were a family of five ages 22-90 seeking a four day get-away/respite from New England snow and found Paradise. This is not the resorty-casino-waterpark part of the island. The villa is beautiful and the location devine. Meredith the owner and Collete, who drove us to and from the airport, helped make our stay amazing. Fellow renters, please take care of this place, it's a gem. We will definitely be back.

Summary: Everything from the beginning was super. Meredith was amazing. She sent us a very detail information about the property, how to get there and recommendations to places to eat and visit. She also offered her help for booking a taxi to pick us up at the airport. We didn’t rent a car so we call the same driver Colette to take us to different places. She is great. Meridith also arranged to have food delivered to the house before we got there as we were arriving very late. Impressive customer service. The house was comfortable and the beach in front of the property was beautiful and the ocean was lots of fun for the kids. We had a memorable stay that will not be forgotten.

Summary: We are a family of 5 which included a 20 month old. It was a phenomenal vacation! We did a site inspection a couple of months earlier so we already knew a lot. The week was amazing. First and foremost, the owner is one of the most responsive people I've ever worked with in any of my previous business or personal dealings. She bends over backwards to be accommodating. Walk out the back patio to a deck, sand and the water, which is crystal clear, shallow, and while we were there, nearly calm, so even the 20 month old could walk in the water with proper protection, and we weren't concerned about rip tides, etc. The beach is beautiful; we did utilize the Club which is a nice enhancement, although is an extra price. And the unit itself has every amenity you need. We absolutely would go back again.

Summary: The pictures and other reviews don't highlight how special this place is. Views from the main floor and master show palm trees, a deck with the most beautiful sandy beach at the end of a private space with sborkeling and slow grade descent. The home is beautifully appointed and well stocked. The ability to use the fitness rooms, bar and restaurant all reasonably priced, gave us many options as a family of 5 hungry people. Definitely recommend calling in advance to understand pricing options since it sounds like it changes and we did not go at a peak travel time. You really don't need the membership the whole time if you are more prepared than we were. Meredith is a great host, quick to respond and empathetic to ebsuring the guests are enjoying themselves. She made the difference and we felt like we were at a home away from home.

Summary: Casa de Mer was the best fit for our family! My husband and I traveled to Nassau with 3 children (ages 6, 5, and 2). The home was wonderful and had all the amenities needed for our vacation! We hired Cheryl's taxi and they brought us to Palm Cay from the airport, stopping at a grocery store on the way. There are many grocery stores on the island--Solomon's is the closest and very new--but it would be a long walk. We rented a car directly at the Welcome Center of Palm Cay and utilized that to get around the island. This unit is DIRECTLY on the beach and situated at the far end of the condos. We basically had our own private beach for the week. Each morning, we collected sea shells in our pajamas and my kids played in the sand while I made breakfast. Like I said, directly on the beach! The area is extremely safe and the house was spacious and organized. Thank you for the laundry baskets! It makes life a lot easier with the kids! I ran a load of laundry each day, and the house was stocked with detergent. The robot vacuum, that my children have named "Marty", made its rounds a few times a day, which helped keep the floor free from sand. I would absolutely recommend Casa de Mer, and we plan on returning as well! Meredith was fabulous with communication and providing information before we arrived. I can't say enough great things about this place!
