What a great place to stay with a great location! Beautiful, quiet, adobe style 2 bedroom, 3 bath freestanding home with traditional Santa Fe touches including white washed Vigas and Satillo tile floors. Colorful tile accents compliment the kitchen and all three bathrooms including custom sinks and authentic iron hardware. This home features double master suites, one at the entry level with king bed and en-suite bath, the other located at the upper level with queen bed and ensuite bath, both with large walk-in closets! The stairs up are wide and easy to manipulate with a comfortable landing! The "tiny" room accommodates a single person in the chair that folds out to a single bed plus a regular closet and the third bath is right next door to this "tiny" room. The living room offers french doors to al fresco dining, wood burning Kiva fireplace, plenty of light, and dining table that accommodates 6. And the kitchen is most accommodating with stainless appliances, french door refrigerator with lower pull out freezer, gas stove, plenty of counter space, kitchen desk with chair, and full size stack washer/dryer. Casa de Musica enjoys views of the Sangre de Christo mountain range to the East. Shopping is an easy 6/10 of a mile to the center of the historic Plaza with some of the City's premier restaurants on the way! Plus, Ski Santa Fe is around the corner just 15 miles away! Conveniently located near Plaza and quick access to Paseo de Peralta, the loop that gets us quickly to the grocery stores and out of city center to excursions to Pueblos, Ghost Ranch, Los Alamos, Chimayo...and Casinos! The house itself is so cozy and comfortable with all the amenities....Could have easily stayed longer than our 6 weeks to enjoy the beautiful weather!

Summary: My husband and I spent the month in Santa Fe to enjoy the beautiful weather, golf, restaurants, museums, markets and visits from family and friends. Casa Musica was the best size home and location we have rented in all our years visiting Santa Fe. A very well appointed home in a great little neighborhood within walking distance of the plaza and the Fort Marcy Park. We are looking forward to going back next summer.

There was a lot of attention to detail with respect to the day-to-day supplies provided within the house to facilitate our stay. The location was central and we enjoyed the quiet street, friendly neighbors, and nearby park. The only issues we encountered were with the fireplace and the front entrance gate.

Reviewer Comments: This lovely casita more than met our expectations for the two months we were in Santa Fe.The home is very well maintained and was spotless on arrival.Being within walking distance of the Plaza was a bonus as parking downtown can be a problem.The management company responded quickly to any questions we had with courtesy and professionalism. Probably the best endorsement of the property is that we have signed up for another two months next year.

Nicely appointed, beautifully decorated, and very well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. We love our outdoor time, and were very pleased to be able to walk to the Plaza, as well as to Cross of the Martyrs and Fort Marcy Park for short hikes. The proximity to the ski hill & Dale Ball trail complex was great too. In addition, the surrounding neighbors are friendly and it's just a peaceful little neighborhood. Honestly could not have asked for a better place to stay. A big thank you to Santa Fe Vacation Rentals as well as the owner for hosting us. We would definitely come back.
