Positive: The location is very beautiful, but the owners are not very nice and they don't speak English very well. We booked a room for 3 people, and when we arrived to check in they asked us for money because we hadn't added the child to the reservation, we were two adults and one child. It wasn't a lot of money but it was a pretty nasty gesture. The furniture in the room, including the bed, is quite old and creaks with every movement. The ceilings are made of natural wood, which probably heats up during the day and then at night when they cool down they creak as if someone is walking on the ceiling, for this reason we didn't rest very well. The breakfast was pretty ok.

Positive: Casa Del Grande Vecchio is beautifully restored and furnished, with exposed brick walls/ceiling and antique furniture. Our superior apartment of >800 ft2 is super spacious while reasonably priced. Ristorante Del Sole which just celebrated its centenary is less than 100m away and serves homely dishes at truly affordable prices.
