Positive: Fabulous! We truly loved Sciacca and Casa dell'Aromatario was the perfect choice for our stay. The owners were lovely and very helpful with any questions we raised. The terraces were truly stunning as well. Of course, breakfast in the caves beneath the hotel was unique and charming!

Positive: Everything about our stay was fantastic. Silvio was a wonderful host, always ready to help. The bedrooms were comfortable with sleep-inducing pillows and sheets. Great breakfast. Silvio's brother Carmelo gave us a fascinating tour of the herb garden. The whole experience was perfect.

Positive: The B+B is perfectly located in the center of historic Sciacca. It’s in a former church that has been beautifully restored and turned into a tasteful B+B , while preserving its old charm, as noticeable in the breakfast room. Silvio and Carmelo are wonderful hosts, you feel immediately welcomed and the love for their property and Sciacca. Carmelo has a green thumb and grows a huge selection of herbs in the backyard, which he introduces the guest in a short tour through his garden. It’s an amazing experience of smell and taste! I have never seen so many different mint plants! On top of the building you can find 2 terraces for relaxation in the afternoon, or you can hang out in the ‘grotta’ on the first floor to cool off, or drink some espresso. This B+B and Sciacca was the highlight of our Sicily vacation!
Negative: Maybe a little loud, since the major road through Sciacca can be loud at night, but the rooms are well insulated and if you keep the windows and blinds closed you will be fine. There’s heating / air conditioning in the room…

Positive: Very modern, new and nicely furnished B&B in the center of historical Sciacca. Very clean and well maintained property. Breakfast room is a vey original and beautiful, an old, converted, fully renovated cave. The owners Silvio and Carmelo are fabulous hosts and exceptionally helpful. Silvio went beyond the call of duty to help us with our tours, transportation and choice of restaurants.
