Stone house with garden, restored in May 2012, of 140 m2 distributed over two floors. On the ground floor is the distributor that leads us to a spacious and open space, where is: the living room with fireplace, living room with TV, dining room and kitchen. In the same distributor we find a toilet and ironing room with washing machine and dryer.
On the upper floor are the two rooms with bathroom (shower). From this floor you access the terrace and the large garden.

Summary: Maria was an amazing host. When we arrived we were greeted with bread, cake, eggs, ham, cheese and a variety of basic essentials. The property was beautiful. We enjoyed the hot tub every day. Able to walk 6 km to Santiago or it was a short drive. Hope to return in the near future

Summary: This property is pure heaven -- what a restful retreat that was more than suitable for a family with two small kids. Loved every minute and didn't want to leave.

Summary: A truly amazing week in a superb property in a gorgeous part of Spain. Casa de Cebro is the most comfortable, luxurious, tastefully designed house I have ever stayed in. We loved waking up in the fresh air and peace of the beautiful countryside yet only a 10 min easy drive into Santiago de Compostela and plenty to see and do in the coastal towns of Galicia. Maria Jose and her family are so welcoming and helpful. She provided us with any local information we needed and was immensely kind with delicious welcoming food and access to her garden for fresh veg and fruit. A truly memorable experience. All in my family loved it. Really want to do a return trip!

Summary: Our stay at Maria’s casa was over-the-top, so much so, we will return to Spain just to stay at this amazing property. Maria is incredibly warm and friendly. Everything a traveler needs is provided. From homemade pastry to local wine and cheese to robes for the hot tub, we felt beyond pampered. Maria is so knowledgeable of the area and shares her expertise willingly. Stay here!!! You will not be disappointed. Best host and casa we have ever stayed at on vacation anywhere!

Summary: Beautifully converted barn. Pool area is stunning and the house has everything you need, and offered total peace and privacy. Maria was an amazing host - super welcoming and responsive, and full of helpful information. Neighbourhood dogs could be a little noisey at night and aircon would be helpful in the bedrooms, but I would highly, highly recommend regardless.

Summary: We would live here! My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful week here in May 2018. Think you might still be able to still see the marks as he had to drag me out! The property is amazing, finished to very high standards. Stunningly beautiful views. We’ve rented over twenty-five VRBO’s and this is the top of our list. Not only do you have three different outdoor spaces at which to enjoy a meal but also a large table inside. The house is finished to very high standards. The property owner has thought of everything! Really! Best quality bathrobes and towels, lovely bed linens, built in high end coffee machine......so many other perks, too many to list! However I will mention the fabulous pool! With a fountain! My husband can’t sit in the sun but was able to keep me company whilst I swam as the property owners had shade furniture available. At all three outdoor areas. These areas are very private. We stayed in Santiago de Compostela in 2016 right by the Cathedral, enjoyed it. However we loved our time this property even more! And only a ten minute drive to a parking lot near the Cathedral! The owner is a very gracious and welcoming hostess. Left us the best soup/stew in the fridge for when we arrived. Dropped off some amazing empanadas one evening. Best I’ve ever had! And we lived in South America for a few years! Bottom line, if this place is available, RENT IT! Did I mention that all the water is heated by solar power? Pool included. And that there are a few acres to go for a hike in? And some really adorable dogs! But their not allowed to bother the guests so they don’t! Incredibly cute though! They do also have a beautiful chalet with a private pool too! Perfect for newlyweds! Again, we’d live here!

Summary: My wife and I recently stayed two nights and the only bad thing was that it was only two nights. This is a very comfortable house well decorated with well stock pantry and state of the art kitchen. The refrigerator had beer, wine, milk, fruit, etc. Amazed to find such a great host. The owners couldn't be better host and were very responsive to our needs - washer, dryer, etc. They had a freshly baked tart made for us upon our arrival and walked us through the house giving us instructions for all their state of the art appliances - i.e. spa shower, etc. The weather was cool so we were able to us their fire place which was well stocked with fire wood. We have stayed at many houses/apartments all over the world and this ranks as one of the most comfortable/cozy places that we have stayed at. Overall this is gorgeous place to stay. Easy and convenient to get into town - local buses run on a regular basis right into downtown. We decided to avoid the hassle of parking, etc and instead took the bus into downtown. Strongly recommend this house if you are in this area.

Summary: La casa espectacular, no le falta detalle, limpia, súper bien equipada, gel, café, jabón lavadora, bebida de bienvenida, juegos para niños, ...Todo lo que te gustaría encontrarte y que nunca hay cuando llegas a una casa de alquiler. Mejor que en tu casa propia. Los propietarios son unos anfitriones ejemplares. Nos hacían falta sillas de bebes para el coche, y nos las dejaron. Los niños, encantados con el entorno, seguro para ellos y bonito y relajante para nosotros, un bosque precioso dentro de la finca. No puedo poner nada mejorable, es simplemente un hogar perfecto para vacaciones!

Summary: This house was a gem! The beds we're so comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, the cleaning thorough... Our only complaint is that we only stayed a week. Maria and her family were so welcoming and the language barrier didn't matter because her sons speak English well. All of our needs were responded to quickly and our hosts went above and beyond what we could ever have hoped to expect from any host. I would highly recommend this place to any traveller, with or without a car (the bus is very easy).
