Positive: The environment was wonderful and we felt like in the tropical forest instead of the city. Birds all around the place. It was a private location with a dedicated parking. We were receievd by the owner with very good attention and they were available for our needs. A bottle of wine was even waiting for us… plenty of recommendations on where to go during our stay. We really appreciated our stay in the place.

Negative: Humidity and smell was sometimes unpleasant even when the dehumidificator was running. An outside chair was broken and not so comfortable.

Summary: We recommend, specially if you are looking for a different type of place to stay.

Positive: Literally everything, it is such an amazing hidden gem. The location is great, you have the beach at a quick walk from the house, nature everywhere surrounding you and full privacy. I particularly enjoyed walking through the little forest inside the property, and for any big nature lovers: this is your spot! Paula, the owner, is such a lovely and kind lady, open to help you anytime.

Negative: Nothing, I enjoyed everything!

Summary: One of my highlights in São Miguel, this accommodation is not to be missed. Everything was beyond great, thank you Paula

Positive: Very comfortable and clean stay. The location was perfect for exploring the island, and the hosts were friendly. There was also a beautiful sunset spot just 5 minutes from the house that we enjoyed almost every evening without seeing another person around :) The washing machine, dishwasher, and bathtub were a great bonus and made the stay especially comfortable. The welcome gifts were also a lovely touch and much appreciated. Thank you for your house!

Negative: Nothing major to complain about. It was a great experience.

Negative: We were greeted by a cockroach in the bedroom on day one The jacuzzi needs cleaning urgently On booking.com they advertise their airport transfer for 20 euros, however we were charged 30 euros Bed sheets weren’t changed during our one week stay On Sunday we ran out of toilet paper, but couldn’t get any since “they were off on Sunday”. They suggested we drive to a supermarket to purchase some!

Positive: Beautiful property with so many lovely shared spaces to explore and enjoy. We particularly enjoyed the walking trails, hot tub, and common room. Paula was very friendly and gave us great recommendations.

Negative: The room was quite damp in January, but the heater and fire helped

Positive: The grounds were amazing. Small trail on property. A hot tub! Smvery quiet. So many restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. As well as scenic destinations, safe and beautiful areas. Besch is so close. Easy to use bolt to get to different areas as well.

Positive: Everything was great. Is was like beeing in a mansion, space, antique furnitures, welcoming Mrs Paula. Great stay

Negative: Everybody reicived 4 towels or even more, it was clean, ironed but despite it smelled wird like they were stored in old furnitures maby. But it was indeed nothing really recommend stay there

Positive: We went to the Azores with my son for Christmas. We chose the accommodation at random. When we arrived, we were completely blown away — what we saw was not what we expected at all. There was a huge garden, and a little house tucked inside it. Paula explained everything to us within minutes, and then she really took care of us: she walked us through what to see on the island, where to go, and what to watch out for. The map she annotated with her own notes was epic. The house has everything you need, and anything you don’t find inside is available in the common room. We had absolutely everything — even the right kitchenware for a traditional Christmas Eve dinner, which isn’t exactly easy to pull off the Czech way. A big thank you!
