Positive: The location in Estoril is excellent - 100 metres from the train station and the main beach. The property is decorated to a high standard (as is slightly quirky). The main rooms are large and airy. There's also a conservatory plus a table and chairs to sit outside. The host is very helpful - she left us some Pastel de Nata from the local bakery which were delicious plus various items for our first breakfast (which meant not having to go out to a supermarket straightaway).
Negative: Small negatives. It would be nice to be able to use the garden, but I can understand why it's out of bounds for guests, plus the table and chairs outside are fine to use. Also, there can be noise (e.g. wedding receptions) from the castle next door at weekends, but it's not too bad (esp. with the windows shut).
