Positive: Close enough to the centre (short cab ride or hilly half hour walk), great facilities including rooms, shared facilities and parking. Especially enjoyed the pool and games room.
Negative: Slightly small bed but still comfy.

Positive: Quiet location. Good kitchen access and nice pool and good parking. Lovely view of Coimbra from our balcony.
Negative: We are fit and have stayed in many hilly towns just a warning the hill is significant when walking up from the town.

Positive: The house is completely renovated. The rooms are soundproof, simple yet nicely decorated and very functional — perfect for short stays. The bed is very comfortable, and everything was incredibly clean. Parking is easily accessible. I’d like to highlight the kindness and helpfulness of the host, Ana, who provided all the necessary information. It’s my new go-to place to stay in Coimbra.

Positive: The apartment was big and the pool area is really nice. We were glad to have it. It was a good place to cool down after the walk.
Negative: I hate to leave less than great reviews but this place needs to come with a warning. It is very far from city center at the conclusion of your day or evening. It says 800 meters or 1.2Km from the place to where everything is happening but it is 1.2km straight uphill on the way home. I mean it is a nightmare really. There is also nothing around there. One decent lunch/breakfast place but other than that you are descending to the bottom and climbing to the top if you want a good meal or if you want to see something. Also the beds were not nearly as comfortable as they look in the photos and there is NO A/C. Fine for probably 80% of the year but considering the location its probably necessary for guests.
Summary: Beware, this is not an easy stay.

Positive: Felt welcome from the beginning and instructions for stay were clear. Room with balcony was lovely , clean , spacious and bright. Property felt safe and secure and the pool was sooo nice to have ! Use of washing machine also really handy and snacks were really lovely addition in the shared space. Obrigada Ana :)

Positive: The accommodation is beautiful, and the host Ana a delight. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the shared kitchen facilities were generous with supplies. The location is up hill, but not a problem at all (and a good walk after a generous Portuguese dinner welcomed!)
