Secluded 5 bed farmhouse, 3 double bedrooms, 2 with en suite, 2 twin bedrooms and 2 family bathrooms. Swimming pool and panoramic views to the mountains yet only 8 minutes drive to Sarnano town.
BBQ, table tennis, board games and selection of children's toys. As a welcome we include the basic essentials to get you started on your holiday. All linen and pool towels are provided.
Casa Giuseppe is our newly acquired home in Italy. It is a recently rebuilt luxury farmhouse in a secluded setting amidst stunning countryside, yet within a short drive to the buzzy village of Sarnano, named one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
Approached by a long drive, the house and pool are revealed with the beautiful view beyond. The farmhouse has an authentic Italian atmosphere with all the comforts of home. The hall leads into a spacious living room off which there is a covered east facing verandah perfect for morning coffee in the sunshine.
There is a well equipped country kitchen with gas range, dishwasher and a large table for dining.
Leading from the kitchen is the large raised west facing terrace perfect for watching the sunset and enjoying pre dinner cocktails on the settees . There is a covered area with a large table for dining .
A spacious downstairs bedroom makes a perfect master bedroom with adjacent bathroom. Upstairs are 2 double bedrooms both with en-suite shower rooms and 2 twin bedded rooms which share a shower room.
From the swimming pool there is a lovely view and the covered pergola area provides welcome shade.
There is a shower for use before and after using the pool.
The property benefits from multiple areas to relax inside and out should you want to socialise as a group or grab a few minutes peace and quiet.
There are lovely walks directly from the house where one can enjoy the wild flowers, olive trees and the sound of the bells from the grazing sheep. The many tracks and trails are also perfect for hiking and cycling holidays.
The nearby vibrant small town of Sarnano is only 8 minutes drive away. The village has been awarded the 'Orange Riband ' by The Touring Club of Italy as a place of special interest. The stunning hillside medieval buildings of the old town are complemented by the lower part of the town with the bustling square , bars and restaurants and artisan shops selling wonderful bread, cheese and local meats. The market, which is every Thursday has local fruit and vegetables as well as various goods and clothes.
The mountains of THE SIBILLINI MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK provide a magnificent backdrop to the town . There, one can enjoy more rugged scenery and many outdoor activities including skiing in the winter months. Lake Fiastra is set amidst the mountains and is an ideal place for boating or swimming.
The beaches of The Adriatic Riviera are just over an hour away and a perfect place to enjoy beach side restaurants serving freshly caught local fish.
In summer Sarnano hosts many festas, exhibitions, concerts and theatrical productions. During the weeks leading up to 15th August the Centro Storico is the home to Castrum Sarnani a historical festa and pageant with minstrels, artists and street performers.
Casa Giuseppe is perfect whether you want to relax by the pool or get out to explore the array of local activities.
Check in is at 4pm and check out at 10 am to allow for house preparation for new guests .

Summary: We had a superb week here in August. The house is beautifully decorated, well-equipped and in a marvellous position with total peace and fabulous views across the countryside and rolling hills. It is ideal for a holiday away from it all, but there is easy access to the lovely town of Sarnano nearby and other pretty villages in the surrounding area. We loved the swimming pool and playing ping pong and croquet in the garden. The house sits comfortably in its landscape, with numerous places to relax outside and enjoy the views and the peace. If we had to name a downside, none of the bedrooms are very big (the twins are small) but this is clear from the pictures, so no complaints there. The kitchen has everything you need, and the sitting room is spacious and extremely comfortable. Everything works, the garden is well maintained and the house is spotlessly clean. Gabrielle could not have been more helpful. All in all, it's a terrific place.

Summary: Beautiful house with convenient layout and very tasteful interior, also exceptionally well equipped. Perfect location with stunning views, close to mountains and only around 1h drive to the sea. I think what really stands out is how clean the house was, some of us are pretty tall and usually we spot quite some dust in places like top of the fridge, but not in here, it was spotless. Once I dropped a soap on the floor, when picking it up I was expecting to find some dirt sticked to it, but it was completely clean. There were many more nice touches that made us fill relaxed and welcome, but I will leave it for you to discover. Special thanks to Gabrielle, she is the ideal host!

Summary: The house was ok but not clean enough, mainly the kitchen. There is not enough tableware for 10 people. Two out of the four bathrooms are really small. There is very little to do or too see in the neighboorhood and you're far away from the coast. If you are looking for a very very quiet place and you don't want to do sightseeing… it's perfect.

Summary: It is not often you find these objects. The ones that delivery much more than what the pictures show! We just spent a week at Gabrielle’s house, 2 families with teenage/young audult children and we had a wonderful time. Kitchen, bedrooms, indoor and outdoor social areas are top level. Nicely and carefully furnished, clean and good quality in details. Go there! Gabrielle is a great and concerned host, wanting everything to be exactly as she has said in description and in email. She is great! Remember though that the house is a bit off, but that is also the advantage, is is a great view and nobody will disturbing you whilst you are there. We will surely recommend to friends and family. Thx Gabrielle for letting us stay in your paradise. / David w family and friends

Summary: We stayed for a week at Casa G and could not of enjoyed ourselves more. The house is tucked away and quiet without being in the middle of no where. Sarnano is a lovely town with good restaurants and friendly people. The villa itself was well stocked, clean, and the welcome basket on arrival was a lovely touch. I have no doubt that we will stay again. Thank you Gabrielle for being such a lovely host.

Summary: The house has everything you need and more. Lovely well appointed kitchen. Lots of outside seating so you can follow the sun or sit in the shade. Great pool which the kids loved, as well as the tennis table which was well used. All the rooms had good beds and had a bathroom each (in our case). The nearest town of Sarnano is beautiful and has everything you need day to day. The ice cream parlour at the bottom of the old town was visited on an almost daily occurrence (sometimes twice!) They held a medieval festival in the old town whilst we were there which was great. We visited a number of local towns and hill top villages going out for drives. Lovely medieval hill top villages with amazing views of the surrounding countryside - all with good coffee and ice creams. A lot of the places had been damaged in the 2016 earthquake and many buildings / churches couldn't be entered but it didn't detract from our enjoyment of the area at all. The region of le marche is not somewhere we have visited before, or even heard of if I'm honest. We really enjoyed it though, very rural and quiet, not touristy, plenty of places to visit and explore, the driving was easy and somewhere we would definitely return to again. Our favourite place though was the view from the kitchen terrace down the valley as the sunset - beautiful. Also a very good spot for star gazing at night.
