Travel Purpose: business
Positive: - Lovely host, clear instructions to check in. Response to messages very quick and also recommended and booked a superb restaurant nearby for us. - the place was nicely decorated, almost new. The double bed was very comfortable. Amenities left for us and we had all we could need. The place was very clean and the area was quiet.
Negative: - the sofa bed was uncomfortable for 2 people. I would say that it needs to be replaced or put an extra one. It was too hard and small for 2 persons. (My daughters won’t share a bed as one moves a lot so me and my eldest share the sofa bed and I ended in the main bed with my husband and other daughter (the one that moves a lot) in the middle of the night. - the shelves need to be fitted to the wall to prevent an incident. - we struggled to drive to the address as our GPS was taking us through some area that is pedestrian and with bollards blocking the access. Driving around the centre with a big car was complicated so maybe aiming for the castle and drive a few meters against a one way road wouldn’t have worked better? Not sure - the pool has seen better days (it’s a paddling pool for young kids really), I would replace it or get rid of it altogether. All in all a 10/10, there’s always room for improvement to get it 11/10 but it was perfect for an unexpected stopover in Xàtiva (we were aiming for Almeria but couldn’t keep driving), and we’re glad we did cos it was lovely. Thanks Isabel!
