The Casa James is a legally Licensed (no 15066AL) rental house with the Portuguese Ministry of Tourism,without this licence it is very dangerous for clients to book a rental property Clients can check and see that they are renting off the ACTUAL OWNER not a bogus web site scam.To give both parties added security we never take a booking or deposits until we have spoken in person with the clients requesting to book our villa,so if it is a serious request send your telephone contact and we will call you back.
Our property is a very large modern spacious 2 storey villa situated in Vale de Parra, close to restaurants, bars and shops, just behind the magnificent Gale Beach. This two storey villa has air conditioning in all rooms which is included in the rental cost ,there is also a hi tech electric heating system giving absolute luxurious comfort for winter lettings. All windows are triple glazed with 'sealed in' Venetian blinds and professional roll down mosquito netting. The ground floor comprises of a spacious lounge/dining room with a STREAMING INTERNET TV system which gives numerous channels ie uk tv,sport,films etc but only works when there is an internet supply ie NO INTERNET NO INTERNET TV. We very rarely loose the internet but if it happens it will only resolve on the return of the supply and therefore nothing can be done to rectify if this happens .There are French windows onto the patio area, large fully fitted kitchen with double oven and hob unit, dishwasher, micro/ oven,tassimo coffee m/c, fridge/freezer etc, laundry room with washing machine and ironing facilities.The ground floor bedrooms consist 1double with flat screen smart TV and USB point,this bedroom now has a very large en suite wet room.The other ground floor bedroom is a twin with en-suite shower room and also on this floor there is a separate luxury bathroom. On the 1st floor 1 double and 2 twin bedrooms, all with en-suite shower rooms. (master with LCD TV & balcony). The Patio area with extensive terraces and planted areas is set behind secure perimeter walls and fencing and access to the villa is through electric coded gates and doors. The 10m x 5m swimming pool can be heated if requested at agreed additional cost prior to arrival,There is CHILD SAFETY POOL FENCING which can be removed for clients who do not request it,sun loungers, patio furniture, covered barbecue area, poolside shower & outside wc .There is now an electric controlled awning which gives if required another shaded area covering the patio area outside the front entrance.
The TV system in the lounge consists of a large LED flat screen with an internet streaming tv system including SKY SPORTS and SKY MOVIES plus numerous other channel .From March 2014 the BBC and ITV ceased to broadcast to Europe,however it is possible to receive them through the internet tv system we have installed but it is totally reliant on the quality of supply which very rarely fails but we give no guarantee to having this available. The WI-FI 5G in the villa is coded and these codes will be given to clients on arrival.

Summary: We had a fantastic stay, the house has everything you need. The area is calm and safe wich is great for resting. For bars and restaurants we have to go by car, but it is a very short trip. We thank Mr. Manuel who was incredible and was always available to help us with everything.

Summary: An absolutely wonderful villa! The location is fantastic and the place is HUGE. The property manager is a complete delight to work with and the owner is lovely. We thoroughly loved our stay here and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice, quiet, professionally kept villa in the Algarve. Nothing but great things to say about it!!

Summary: After spending a 2 week holiday with family and friends at Casa James, I would highly recommend this villa. The location in a village setting was good. Vale de Parra has a selection of bars, restaurants and shops within walking distance, while the busier Albufeira is only a 10 minute drive away. We enjoyed the atmosphere and snacks at the local Cabanitas Bar and occasional evening meals at the Sae Domingos restaurant. The villa was private and safe, surrounded by ivy clad walls and accessed by electronic gates. The exterior of the villa was spacious, with separate areas for sunbathing, eating and barbecuing. There was a plentiful supply of chairs, tables, sunloungers and shaded spots under parasols. We found the swimming pool very clean and well maintained. The interior of the villa was spacious, well maintained and cleaned to a very high standard by the daily maid service. There was plenty of sitting room for our party of 10 in the large kitchen and lounge. The bedrooms had plenty of storage space and excellent ensuite facilities. We particularly liked the air conditioning throughout the villa, a welcome respite from the heat! We also enjoyed the hugh supply of books provided. The villa owners could not have been more helpful, answering any queries we had and ensuring that we had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday. We have already booked again for next year. Summary: Wow! Our first impression of our holiday villa was its size, ample space for two families with young children (and Grandad). The pool, patio/barbeque area (with built-in barbeque) were very well appointed and the most used areas of our stay,plenty of room for the children to run around whilst we enjoyed the sun loungers. The poolside w/c and outdoor shower were very handy , especially for the children. the pool and patio were cleaned and attended to regulary. The living accomodation was superb, a well furnished lounge with large flat screen tv, Sky box (take your own Sky card), DVD player, lots of books and some childrens games. Bedrooms, very comfortable, all en-suite and some with tv (master bedroom wired to Sky). Downstairs bathroom (with bath) ideal for children. The kitchen was fantastic, large with a BIG table, all mod-cons, every utensil, lots of pots&pans made eating-in a pleasure. Laundry room was well used (messy kids). The cleaners did an excellent job and were very respectful. The local area has good restaurants and bars within walking distance, reasonably priced and family orientated serving snacks and child sized meals. A mini-market, 2 minutes walk away, has basic English products and freshly baked bread rolls twice daily. Larger supermarkets a short car ride away. A visit to Zoo Marine is a must, we had a great day (and the kids enjoyed it) A brilliant holiday in a superb villa. We'll definitely be going again.

Summary: Really enjoyed our stay at Casa James. Perfect for a 3 family stay. Felt really luxury. Nice and cool house you don´t need to use the ac. The Pool was perfect. You have everything in the kitchen. Cleaning and bed making almost all week=perfect. We didnt want to leave this wonderful house!!
