Summary: Although not perfect we did have an overall good experience by staying at Casa Los Ponchos. On the good side, Very safe with gated and guarded community in a beautiful setting. Andres was wonderful to deal with and very supportive and responsive to our requests. The casa is spacious for a large family. We were a group of 7 adults and 2 babies and we enjoyed the space and especially the hamacs on the veranda. The kitchen is equipped correctly and we enjoyed having Nancy cook for us fresh fish and ceviche one night. It was delicious for a very reasonable price. On the minus side, the beach access was a little more complicated than we expected. With surf boards and beach gear you need to take the car to go to the beach and the beach access is locked. At first the guards did not want to give us the keys. We contacted Andres and within 24 hours he was able to get us access. But they have only 1 key for a large group of people so it complicates logistic at times. It would be great if they had more than 1 key and if we could keep the key for the length of the stay. But once you are on the beach it is wonderful. Very quiet, private, clean and offering great surf. We loved it !! Another downside we want o note is that there were more insects than we would have liked outside and inside the property. Ugly spiders and other sort of ramping warms that kept getting inside the casa and in the pool. Not sure what can be done here but it did certainly bother us. Andres, thank you for doing your best to be helpful we appreciated it.

Summary: This Beach house has all the comfort one needs. The Kitchen is well equipped, the bathrooms neat, the pool area is amazing. Just laying on the hammocks overlooking the Ocean is priceless. I recommend this property 100%.

Summary: The home is wonderful. A constant ocean breeze with hillside location. The 10 minute walk to the private entrance to the beach was easy. The stretch of beach for the location was very nice. Almost felt like you had it all to yourself. We truly enjoyed our stay and plan to return again.

Summary: Andres was awesome to work with prior to our trip. Very responsive and helpful. Gave us many great suggestions and also arranged a chef for us while we were there. Monica took over once we arrived and was also very helpful and accommodating. She communicated with Grace (our chef) regarding our desires regarding the menu, etc. Also helped us with shopping for specific items we needed and arranged a fresh catch of lobsters and langostinos! She also arranged a boat trip for us to Silver Island which included snorkeling. The house was perfect for our large group with enough room to give everyone their own space and a full bathroom for each as well. Definitely worth every penny!

Summary: We loved this place! Large home that can comfortably sleep 10 people, with an awesome BBQ so you can buy fresh fish from Olon and grill it up yourself! Super close to everything we needed. We loved the dogs of the area and loved that they came to greet us every day when we were home! Olon is like no other place we've been to before and we cannot wait to go back to Casa los Panchos! I can't say enough good things!
