Positive: One of the best hostels I've stayed in so far. Located up on the hill it is the BEST place to experience the most incredible sunsets while having a private 3-minute-walk to the beach, which allows you to go surfing/swimming at any time. On top of that the dorms are super clean as well as all of the facilities. Laura the owner and her Co-Worker Mari are both super warm-hearted people that'll help you at any time. Also Amarillo the Hostel-Cat definitely has a very special place in my heart. Casa Medusa is the first and only spot of my journey to which I returned, which is the best proof of how amazing this place is. So if you're searching for a cozy accommodation to relax, explore and/or surf, this is your spot!

Positive: Garden where you can chill in the hammock or on wooden platform, watch the ocean and listen sounds of the nature. Very peaceful place. All is basic but it has everything you need.

Positive: The view is just amazing, so peaceful to have my morning coffee in the hamac. 3 min walking distance from an amazing beach (Playa Amarillo). Laura, the sweet owner, is still working on making this place a small gem since it is only open for a few weeks now. Kitchen has also everything you need to cook a simple meal. Thank you Laura for your hospitality.
Negative: The shared bathroom in the dorm could be a little more private with a door instead of a curtain, but it wasn't an issue for me. Just worth mentioning if you are seeking privacy for your number 2.

Positive: Laura is such a lovely host. The property is on top of a hill meaning you have the best view of both beaches: playa gigante and playa amarillo 😍 it's the most peaceful little place with a beautiful garden, hammocks and little platforms to chill and enjoy the view! There is a private access to playa amarillo from the back of the house so you get a shortcut to the surf beach 🙌🏼 There is a kitchen if you want to cook or make some coffee in the morning. It's all new/just renovated and very clean! Also the WiFi was working really well so that I could do work calls with the a stunning view.

Positive: Absolutely perfect little hostel! Only 4 beds in the dorm sharing a bathroom. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen with free filtered water, so many gorgeous chill out spots with epic views of both beaches. You even get a bath towel to use - such a nice touch!
