Positive: We booked a large room facing the Loire - and the view from the exceptionally equipped and decorated room was stunning. The bed (with views from 2 picture windows) was very comfortable and the bathroom was superbly appointed. We were provided with dressing gowns and slippers. Jeremy and Cindy were perfect hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Mila. The breakfast each morning in a lovely room overlooking the Loire was very generous and Cindy's pancakes were amazing! There is a lot to do in the area. There is a train station within walking distance, which we used to visit Angers. On another day, we took our car to visit the chateaux near Angers and on a 3rd day we went to Saumur and the Abbaye Royale de Fontevraud. At the end of each day, we were able to relax for an hour or so in the wonderful spa at Casa Mila, before dinner at a nearby restaurant (excellent suggestions from Jeremy and Cindy). One of the very best places we have stayed. Thank you very much, Jeremy and Cindy!

Positive: Casa Mila is Cindy and Jeremy’s labour of love. Such a lovely property and amazing hosts. Nestled in the heart of the Loire valley, this is an old house which they have painstakingly restored beautifully to highest standard. The property is well suited for couples and families (we are a family of 3 with a 5 year old). We stayed for 9 nights. Breakfast is absolutely stunning (don’t miss the Casa Mila bowls and the pancakes are to die for). The location is spectacular, right on the Loire river, with a 10 minute walk to the village & local shop, pharmacy & boulangerie. The hosts are very warm, attentive and proud of what they have achieved. The heated pool is a gem, and the newly opened spa facilities look amazing. Cindy & Jeremy gave us plenty of recommendations on places to eat (we tried all their recommendations and each & every one was exceptional) and shop, both locally as well as in the nearby cities of Angers & Saumur. There is also no shortage of Chateaus and vineyards just a short drive away. All in all, we had an amazing stay at Casa Mila, and we will return.
