Casa Mimosa is a large and elegant terraced villa with private garden located in the homonymous residence in the central area of Lierna, a characteristic village located on Lake Como, within walking distance of all services, shops, bars, but also the station and pier where you can take the boat to quickly reach the most famous places on the lake, such as Varenna and Bellagio.
The house is spread over three levels. The modern furnishings in neutral tones make the environment relaxing and comfortable and are associated with furnishing accessories that give a touch of refined elegance.
The ground floor leads to the large living area with fully equipped kitchenette, dining area and living room with comfortable sofa and TV. Two double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower, sink, bidet and toilet complete the floor.
You then enter the upper floor where there is a large open space double bedroom, walk-in closet, bathroom with tub and terrace with splendid views.

Summary: We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood, the serene home, and the small village feel of the town with fewer tourists and a more authentic feel. This included finding out the hard way when the grocery store closes! (But that’s part of the adventure) The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room to spread out. The expandable awnings made hot summer afternoons much more bearable! The AC units kept the place cool and comfortable. We were able to cook meals and enjoy our stay. We did not have a car, and we knew the travel to and from the train station or other important destinations like the waterfront was going to be a hike. Having a lightweight backpack for groceries was a lifesaver. The main floor shower runs hot and cold, and each person had to adjust the shower temperature frequently during their shower.
