Summary: We really enjoyed our stay with our lovely hosts Marina and Marco! The communication did always work and we have to thank them once again! The flat is nicely located with a brilliant view on Lake Como; unfortunately it was extremely hot and walking from the lake up to the flat was really hard work! Talking about the lake- use the little beach just below the flat at the southern end of Lierna- it‘s not half as crowded as the Lido at the Castello… Try a trip into the mountains and visit Bergamo! Ciao and gracie!

Summary: "Apartment very spacious and clean with superb views from the front and back. Owners very friendly and helpful. Lierna is a small village but has all the basic services. Lecco is a short drive away and has a big hypermarket and modern shops. Varenna is also a short drive away and has a bigger selection of restaurants and also access to the car ferry. Lierna has two small beaches, its really nice to swim in the lake and look up at the mountains."

Summary: "We spent a very nice week in this lovely apartment during our holiday in Italy. The apartment was spacious and clean and. The view to the lake and the mountains was spectacular. It was good excercise to climb up there since we didn`t have a car. The owners are very nice and helpful. If we ever go back to Lierna we will certainly book this apartment."

Summary: "Fantastic location to enjoy Lake Commo and the surrounding countryside. Lovely airey property with great views not only over the lake to the front, but also up to the mountains behind .... the best of both Worlds ! The mountains can be enjoyed particularly well from the spacious terrace. Very friendly and efficient email communication from the owners - followed by equally friendly and informative service when at the property. Lierna is an ideal location, good facilities yet quieter than some of the more touristy lake-side towns ..... giving much more of a feel of 'real' Italy. The property itself if situated on the countryside edge of the town, which helps with both quietness and parking - yet still only a relatively easy walk to the centre and lakeside. There is excellent waymarked walking right on the doorstep, but also even more impressive mountain walking within a short drive. The owner will be able to give some good suggestions. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely return."
