Located on the tranquil and shady Calle Santa Barbara, the most prestigious street on the south side of Puerto Vallarta, and a short walk along the beach to the popular and lively Playa Los Muertos and Vallarta’s Blue Chairs, Casa Perezoso is a four-level traditional Mexican style home with modern flair. The home includes only the finest tile work, exposed brick and natural stone and is uniquely decorated with antiques and original art.
Once you pass through the large wooden doors, guests are greeted by the sound and the sights of the ocean below. The entry level is a dramatic, large open area that has a Mexican-style kitchen with open tiled shelving, a dining area, and a living area with banquette seating for TV viewing. A convenient powder room is also located on this level. The comfortable living area is completely open to the ocean along the west wall allowing tropical breezes to move throughout the home incorporating seamlessly the indoor living spaces with the outside terrace.
Up one level, guests will find two master bedrooms with full bathrooms en suite. One master bedroom features a king bed with a Mexican-tiled sunken tub and shower. The other King master suite has a magnificent bathroom tiled in Moroccan inspired tile work. There is a sitting area on the balcony outside both suites. The bedrooms can be open air or closed for air conditioned comfort for sleeping.
Up one more level is the private rooftop terrace. The terrace features a spectacular 360 degree view of the ocean, downtown and lush mountains. There is a palapa-covered bar made complete with a sink and refrigerator. A built-in tiled service bar runs the length of the terrace, perfect for entertaining. The whirlpool dipping pool (Not Heated) is the ideal place to re-charge your batteries after spending the day in the sun or shopping Vallarta’s numerous boutiques. Here, you will also discover lounge chairs and a dining area for sunset cocktails. A convenient powder room can also be found on this level.
Down one level from the main entrance are 2 more bedrooms with private en suite bathrooms. Both rooms feature ocean views and can be either open air or glass windows closed for air conditioned comfort. One bedroom offers one king bed and one single bed with a tiled bathroom shower. The other bedroom has a queen bed and a Mexican-tiled bathroom. Between the two bedrooms there is an intimate sitting area for TV viewing.

Summary: Hands down would stay again (consensus of everyone who stayed). Each room is individually simple but beautiful with a view and private bathroom. You’ll get your uphill steps in or take a taxi easily. Great hosts and house tenants that immediately made us feel at home.

Summary: Fantastic property with 4 lovely en-suite bedrooms. Open plan main floor is and rooftop balcony are excellent. Two notes 1. This property is at the top of a hill and it is a healthy walk from the beach. It’s 162 steps on the very close by stairs to the beach. Not great for people with mobility issues. Uber/taxi service is very inexpensive if needed. 2. We were there during a DJ festival for 3 days of our 7 day stay and because the space is so open That it was loud from noon to 10pm. It would be loud anywhere you stay in the area. Once the festival was over it was much quieter and completely fine at night. Only the sound of the waves crashing.

Summary: We stayed at Casa Perezoso March 2025 with 3 other couples. The home is a beautiful 4-story and traditionally furnished. We loved the open-air concept of the main floor and roof-top, while the 4 bedrooms (w/ private ensuites) all had air conditioning if preferred. The walk to and from our favorite bars and restaurants was easy, however cabs rides were seamless and safe and very affordable too. Sarah, house manager, and Fidelia were very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend - location, property amenities, manager responsiveness. We loved it all!

Summary: This is a beautiful and spacious villa. It is tastefully decorated and well maintained. It is in a great location. The property management was very responsive and on top of everything. And our housekeeper was awesome. The check-in was effortless. They were waiting at the door to greet us when we arrived. I can't say enough, it is a great place to stay. We will stay there again.

Summary: This was the most spectacular home I’ve ever stayed in. The description was perfect and we had so much room for our 6 guests. Amazing views from each room made our stay relaxing. You’ll love the roof top deck, especially at night. The check in process was easy and the property management company was professional and responsive. We also loved Fidela who did an excellent job cleaning the beautiful home.

Summary: I stayed with four friends and we've rented villas for decades. Almost everyone agreed that overall this was the best we'd ever stayed in. The layout is ideal, with bathrooms in each room, plus two extras on the other floors. Bedrooms on floors 1 and 3 provide nice separation. The rooftop terrace is perfect for sun. And all walking distance to the beach and town if you are up for the hill. Loved this place!

Summary: I had an excellent experience! From the house staff to getting groceries pre stocked in the house. The house keeper was so kind. My only complaint is that I could not connect to wifi and nobody there could help me. So I spent my trip without wifi, which isn't bad because it forced me not to work! I would return here again & again
