5 Bedroom Villa in Calonge

Completely refurnished villa and additional luxury house with as many as 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, set in a wonderful location, spacious garden, heated and lighted pool and view over the hills.
There are 3 bedrooms in the villa, with 2 bathrooms and a modern, fully equipped open plan kitchen with a kitchen island.
The second house includes a kitchenette, living room, two bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. In the garden is a heated swimming pool and ample private parking space.
Casa Peters accommodates 8-10 people. WiFi is available throughout the site.
The house is located near Calonge in the Cabanyas quarter. The property covers approximately 800 m2 with a fenced garden with olive trees and several terraces. The house is particularly suited for extended families, families with children and/or a couple of families.

1 bedroom with 2 single beds (0.90 m x 2.00 m) and a bathroom with washbasin, shower, toilet and towel radiator.
Delightful outdoor life:
Heated swimming pool (8 m x 4 m) lighted and with an outdoor shower.
Between the two houses is a pergola with a big table and enough chairs, to spend a wonderful time.
Grand barbecue with utensils and sink. The table and the barbecue may be lighted in the evening.
The spacious and fenced garden with several cosy corners and partitions, offers you all the privacy you may wish for. There are various terraces with seats, a lounge set and deck chairs.
Table-tennis table.
The garden is equipped with an automatic sprinkler system.
Spacious parking for several cars.
The site is fenced and accessible through an electric gate.
Surroundings:
Calonge’s historic centre is 2 km away, there you’ll find a bakery, butcher’s, supermarket, village pub and various restaurants.
The distance to the beach, with restaurants, supermarkets and a magnificent boulevard is only 4 km .
Approximately 5 km from the property, you’ll find a water park.
Several walking trails and cycling routes are in the immediate vicinity. (bicycles can be hired in St. Antoni de Calonge).
Golf fans are offered various opportunities in the area.
A day’s visit to Girona is well worth your time.
With a fast rail connection from Girona it takes less than an hour to reach Barcelona’s centre.
There are 3 airports in the area: Girona (40 km), Barcelona (125 km) and Perpignan (140 km, Fr.)/

Summary: Originally, we just wanted to reserve this property, but somehow we have been informed it was booked (by the estate company) and if we want to cancel we have to pay 60% of the full price. At the FEWO site it was marked as 100% free cancellation and even FEWO couldn't help after calling them. So we had to take it finally. Anyway, the villa was wonderful and well equipped; when we arrived some keys didn't work and the alarm system went off, but we have been able to shut it off, surprising that we haven't been informed about this upfront. After some waiting time, the keys have been changed. The Wifi did not work as described in the documentation, but we found a piece of paper telling the right wifi key. A real pitty that the pool heating didn't work and my complaints (I wrote a few emails including pictures from the thermometer at 14°C and started with this at the beginning of our stay) weren't taken seriously and the poolboy fixed the pool heating after one week, just one day before we left, so this was really disappointing having selected this property especially because of the heated pool (3 children).

Summary: It is really a great Holiday house with good planning : neat common areas, big kitchen and almost all bedrooms had its own bathroom. Garden is well furnished leaving many different types of places to relax, enjoy the sun and swimming pool, read a book in a shadow or play a match of ping pong. It is a house where you really feel yourself well making it to wish it to be actually yours ! :)
