Positive: Our stay at this villa was absolutely fantastic and exceeded all expectations. The salt water pool is refreshing, clean, and perfect for cooling off on warm days. We were also so impressed by how impeccably clean and spacious the villa was, easily accommodating our family of six. José was a delightful and thoughtful host. We were able to pick fresh, fragrant lemons from the property to make fresh lemonade, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Furthermore, we really appreciated the thoughtful details throughout the villa, which truly made us feel at home. We would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for some tranquillity far from all the city noise. Would recommend having a car as it is a little bumpy trek to get there, but it is worth it!! Thank you José!!!!

Positive: Jose and his wife were doing their best to let their guests feel very comfortable. Starting with the pre-arrangements, check in and check out procedures, responding to any question by return, giving recommendations and hints. Most importantly, they keep the property very clean and well organized. A fully equipped kitchen, a sweet cake as a welcome gift, comfy beds, towels, sun beds, any many other "little things" that a family may need during their stay in the house, which is located in a rather isolated and therefore amazing location.
Negative: With all the efforts the owners spent on making the stay for their guests unforgettable a body wash and hair shampoo could be there and available as part of all other toiletries provided by the host. Not a big deal, of course, just a very small and perhaps the only possible recommendation on what could have been done better since the steel grid to BBQ fish is no longer missing.

Positive: We have spent 10 days in that charming villa with a great pool in a beautiful garden. It was a pleasant family time in a green, quiet oasis. We had a rented car so it was easy to reach the town. The owner was really nice and helpful.

Positive: We absolutely loved everything about this home. The house was equipped with everything that you need, the pool was very clean, the beds very comfortable and the location was exactly what we needed and what we wanted - far from the busy city centre. We got both to enjoy ourselves and to relax. The host, Jose, was very nice, helpful and friendly and made our experience unforgettable.

Positive: The whole house with the big garden are beautiful, very well maintained, the pool is very nice and clean (filled with salty water). The house is fully equipped, you can find everything you need. Just like at home. The property is very clean, by entering on the first day it was very impressing to smell the scent of cleaness (not only see). The beds are comfortable, we had enough place for our clothes. Jose is the kindest host we ever met. He was waiting us with cold drinks, wine, fruits, snacks. He was always reachable if we had questions, had recommended several places to eat, to visit, to make shopping. (With exact gps cordinates) The garden is full with flowers, you can hear several birds. We spent there only 4 nights, it was very short but we had a holiday at Jose’s house exactly what we needed and planned. We are very thankful for the kind hospitality. If somebody needs a quiet neighborhood not to far from Malaga, highly recommended. (With car!)

Positive: We loved it all! Everything was more than catered for from cleaning products to BBQ charcoal and fire lighters also wood for the indoor fire. Towels, sunbeds, washing machine etc. The beds were supper comfortable, the sheets perfectly clean, in fact the hole place and facilities were very, very clean. The host 'Jose' was very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Defiantly need a hire car, although all amenities are within a few miles.

Positive: The Property is circa 20 km outside Malaga main city, in the suburb Campanillas (officially integrated with Malaga). Approx 15-20 minutes away from the city center or the Airport, depending on the traffic. We selected it on purpose to be a bit more private and we got exactly what we were looking for: tranquility, privacy, silence and a wide space indoors and outdoors which we could enjoy without any disturbance whatsoever. It's highly recommended to rent this property alongside a car, otherwise it's not easilly reachable. A taxi from Malaga will take you there for a reasonable price but it's a bit tough to call a cab at the property to pick you up. We had a car so everything worked out great. The property sits atop a hill with a splendid view of the Malaga valley, from the front porch. There's a large supermarket which sells everything you need in terms of cosmetics and groceries, about 5-7 minutes away (driving time). The host is more than accomodating, he was always available and answered our every question and provided dozens of great recommendations. The house is squeaky clean and the pool is cleaned at least once a week. There's every possible appliance one could need, including patio and pool stuff, and, even though we did not have small children with us, we could see the yard was equiped with fun and games to entertain the young ones. For those with a passion for astronomy (like we are), the night sky is lit up by all the stars, clearly visible since you'll be away from the bright city lights. There's A/C but we did not need it since in October it wasn't that hot and the house has windows on every side and it ventilates perfectly when they are all open. There's nets on the windows so we did not see any insects inside, not that there were that many to begin with in the yard either. Long story short: we had a marvelous time at Casa Rural Cupiana and would gladly return.
Negative: Nothing to comment. We rarely find such gems in terms of accomodations. We can only hope the hosts will continue to offer this property and will have the resources to maintain it as we found it.
