Positive: We had the loveliest stay in Casa Saúde, the best so far in Cabo verde ! The view is outstanding, the host adorable, the room very spacious and very clean, the diner filling and delicious and we were able to do some activities recommended by the hotel (a fishing trip with locals which was a great experience) ! Thank you to the whole Casa saúde team !

Positive: Incredible views, great facilities, lovely staff, cute bonus kitty and some of the best food I had in Cape Verde!

Negative: That last stretch on the dirt road up the casa can feel a bit scary at night as there are no street lights. Just something to be mindful of if you're travelling alone.

Positive: Perfection in every way. Jörg and Djenna made our 5 nights the very best they could be, the accomodation is a perfect tranquil getaway and the town of Tarrafal and its people makes for such a welcoming corner of the island. It was sad to leave!

Negative: Before we arrived to Sant Antao we contacted Jörgen to address some doubts regarding the arrival to his place. He didn’t provide enough indications despite knowing that Google maps doesn’t work in the area. In the property WiFi is bad, poor breakfast and a shower with barely hot water. Before our departure we were approached aggressively by Jörgen who questioned a booking.com review that he thought we had made. Once he realised it was done by a previous guest he asked for our feedback in person. It was highly uncomfortable because we realised that he was not open to receiving our feedback in a professional way.

Summary: Lack of authenticity shines through even the most polished surface.
