Summary: A beautiful, atmospheric place, ideal for a break from everyday life and the hustle and bustle of the city. Casa da Serena is situated right on the beach, the sound of the waves, the sea breeze, the seagulls - simply a fairy tale, a place to fall in love with. In the nearby fishing port you can watch the fishermen at work and buy freshly caught fish. The cottage is tastefully and modernly furnished and fully equipped (nothing really missing), well maintained and very clean. The owners are friendly, very helpful and courteous. The keys were handed over without a hitch. There is a wide choice of restaurants and bars with really good and fresh food (we liked the bar across the road best). In the town of Vila Cha there are small local shops where you can buy all the basics, fresh bread, fruit, vegetables etc. every day. The city of Porto, Braga (Bom Jesus do Monte with its Stairway to Heaven), Guimaraes, the Peneda-Geres National Park are not far away - there really is something to do apart from sunbathing and watching the ocean change from hour to hour. We spent 10 days in this fabulous place, we had a real break and it was really sad to leave - but what a job waiting for us. We are very happy and we are already planning to return there next year, and we do not often return to the same places.

Summary: Our family really (2 adults + 3 kids) needed a vacation. Vila Chã and Casa Serena met all our expectations. Good furnished house in a small village where live only kind people. Just step to the ocean.

Summary: You won't be able to find a place like this, because it's not allowed to be this close to the ocean, so book it know before it fills up, totally remolded, and an actuall true hot shower that lasts, without going cold on you, an extreme rarity in Portugal to have a hot shower with out it turning cold on you, you will always cherish the photos taken here and the memories of tranquility will last a lifetime!!

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely cabin by the sea. It had all the amenities we required and the hosts were generous with their time and also provided a nice bottle of port. We would definitely stay again and would recommend.

Summary: We have had a great time in this wonderful fully equipped house! The kitchen is fully equipped as well. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom. The view on the beach and fishing boats is very nice. Both to the north and to the south, there is a footpath along the coast. Vila Chä is a nice place close to Porto and the places in the North of Portugal are also very nice to visit. The father of the owner (Americo) received us and he is very friendly and was always ready for help.
