Positive: We spent two nights at Casa Terras do Douro as a group of six, and our stay was absolutely wonderful. Our first impression couldn’t have been better. Patricia and her husband welcomed us warmly, and the moment we stepped into the garden we were enchanted by the incredible fragrance of lemon and orange blossoms. The garden is beautifully designed, and we enjoyed picking fresh oranges, eating them, and even pressing our own orange juice. Our hosts showed us around the house, and we immediately noticed how exceptionally well-equipped the kitchen is — it even includes spices, vinegar, and oil. They had also stocked the place with some groceries and drinks for us. We found beer, Prosecco, and juices in the fridge, as well as fresh bread and a Portuguese specialty waiting for us. It was such a thoughtful gesture. We spent many wonderful hours on the terrace — moments we will truly miss. The house layout is very convenient: on the ground floor there is one bedroom with its own bathroom, and on the first floor there are two more bedrooms with a shared bathroom. The beds are not really big, the mattresses are comfortable, and we all slept very well. Thank you so much for an amazing stay!
