Positive: The location is exceptional. You can get a collectivo from the ferry terminal directly there. The family is incredibly kind and helpful and both breakfast and dinner (if you take advantage) are good. You can do hikes directly from the guesthouse or again easily take collectivos or taxis to reach other hikes or points of interest. The rooms are exactly what is shown here - basic, but there is good hot water (it takes quite a while to warm up).

Positive: The VIEW, the location! The option for dinner and breakfast was amazing in an isolated place! Very nice. Amazing hiking right in the back yard

Negative: Hosts entered the room without notice and windows were left open so flies did bother us abit.

Positive: Everything was great - the homemade breakfast and dinner were super delicious, the room was clean and comfortable, and the terrace was great, with hiking trails right next to the hotel. and ofcourse hotel staff - super!

Negative: There weren’t curtains at the door, while the light of the other room was quite visible in our room. It wasn’t very clean. But to be fair, for this price it was quite good

Positive: The room was clean and comfortable with a private bathroom. Breakfast was very good. This is a remote but very beautiful situation. We were able to get information from other guests to help plan our routes.

Negative: Walkers should know that it is not on the popular Paul Valley route. There was little information (maps etc.) available at the hostel. Staff are friendly but not very knowledgable about paths, distances etc.

Summary: It's a lovely experience to stay at Casa Xoxo. A beautiful spot deep in nature.
