Look no further than Casa YaYa for your perfect St. John retreat. The moment you enter, the view will take your breath away. Casa YaYa boasts one of the prettiest views on the island. Located on the western hillside overlooking beautiful Coral Bay, we’re located in a quiet area with wonderful breezes and full sun until mid to late afternoon. If privacy is what you desire, this is the villa for you.
If you ever decide to come inside, the comfort and décor will envelop you and have you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. This one level villa is unique for its large 10-foot-high openings along the entire east side allowing beautiful sunshine and cooling breezes to invade the villa. The view from each room is unparalleled. It boasts a large great room and kitchen. The two master bedrooms are located on opposite sides of the great room for maximum privacy. Each air-conditioned master bedroom features a king-sized bed and affords the same spectacular view as the great room. Both bathrooms have outdoor showers that are highly desired in this tropical climate.
The roomy loft is open to the great room during the day but has a room-dividing curtain that you can close at night to enhance privacy and allow the AC to keep the loft nice and cool. There are two bunk beds (twin over twin w/ a twin trundle, and a twin over full) allowing up to 6 to sleep in total AC comfort. Please note: the loft is accessed by a barn-style ladder not a staircase and is not recommended for younger children or older adults. This set-up makes Casa YaYa perfect for two families.
Enjoy the privacy that this villa has to offer while lounging in the crystal blue waters of the 20x12x5 pool. Sunbathe on the spacious sun deck. All of this is possible as you take in the view of Coral Bay, Tortola and the Sir Francis Drake Passage to Virgin Gorda. Don't forget to watch the sunrise and moonrise which are visible from every room in the house.
Casa YaYa has a gated driveway, beyond which offers a garden rich with native plants and many different species of palm trees.
Located in Coral Bay, where many of the locals choose to live, we are in close proximity to comfortable island dining whether you are looking for the very casual to more upscale. Situated perfectly between the quieter eastern beaches and the world-famous north shore beaches, Casa YaYa is only minutes from each. Hiking trails abound and are also only minutes away. A night out in Cruz Bay, dining and shopping, is just a short (but curvy) 25-minute drive on island roads where speeds are rarely over 20 miles per hour. The island is two-thirds National Park land and therefore protected from over-development.
Completely rebuilt and refurnished following hurricanes Irma and Maria in 2017, Casa YaYa is one of the nicest properties on the island located in one of the best spots.

We now offer a rental truck as well for an additional fee. A custom-built Toyota Tundra with 4WD and an automatic transmission offers seating for up to 6 in the interior and another four seats in the bed of the truck. These seats are bolted to the frame, have seat belts and a covered canopy overhead. This is the perfect beach vehicle for St. John and allows passengers to fully embrace our warm climate and incredible views. Summary: This property has million-dollar views. They are breathtaking. We were pinching ourselves every time we took in the scenery. The villa itself is comfortable and cozy with all supplies/equip needed for the kitchen, including spices. The bedrooms are beautiful and cozy and the a/c was so nice. It was wonderful to have a washer and dryer. The showers are semi-outdoors; they have 4 walls but the top half above head is open air yet covered with roof. Showers were amazing with the tradewinds blowing in! We made friends with a cute lizard who lives on one of the shower lights:) It was a very quiet location and we loved waking up for magnificent sunrises every morning while listening to the roosters, goats, and donkeys! The pool was perfect and my son loved swimming every evening. The flora and fauna along the driveway and backyard are beautiful and we watched hummingbirds every day. We love the Coral Bay side of the island as it is more laid-back and quiet but just a 15-20 min drive to North Shore beaches and 20-25 to Cruz Bay (beautiful drive too!). As others have said, the road and driveway are a little precarious at first, but do it once and it’s easy! Communication with the hosts was flawless and we were even allowed graciously to check in early, as the previous people had checked out very early. We really appreciated this! We already miss Casa Yaya!

Summary: We had an amazing stay at Casa YaYa!! It was such a great location just up the hill from two fantastic spots ( Johnny Lime and Skinny Legs)! The property had everything you could need!! The pool and deck had amazing views!! Perfect family vacation!

Summary: We’ve been to STJ many times over the years. Took another couple with us for this trip. Cannot say enough good things about the house. It was perfect for the four of us. Had everything we needed and then some. Our hosts pretty much thought of everything and were highly responsive. We had beautiful views and sunrises. Also got to enjoy beautiful starry nights. Coral Bay is the quieter side of the island which is exactly what we like. We will definitely return to Casa Yaya

Summary: First time staying in Coral Bay and won't be our last! Love the views, restaurants and stores - such a great community feel. We also couldn't have been happier with Casa YaYa, what a beautiful property that had everything you could ask for. Only problem is that between the pool & the views, you didn't want to leave the house, but we did - so many beautiful beaches and great hikes to enjoy. Summary: Views just as represented. Expansive deck with pool.Comfortable king rooms / en-suite bath rooms.Need filtered water for drinking water (common for island).Loft too steep ladder for small kids. Fine for 10 years or so. If you trust kids with climbing a high dive ladder, then they are fine for here.Make sure you rent an SUV for rough road clearance. Highly recommend.

Summary: We took the family for our first USVI stay. Kids ages 10 and 6. This property delivered the ideal experience for our group. We loved the location, away from crowds and noise, yet close to conveniences like groceries and restaurants. We loved the private pool and beautiful patio for stargazing and enjoying the views of coral bay. One of the best stocked kitchens we have seen in a rental helped produce some home cooked meals to remember too! Would definitely book here again if back in St John.

Summary: We had an amazing time at the beautiful Casa YaYa! The view was incredible, especially with the full moon. The location was perfect for a more quiet getaway. We met some wonderful people at the local spots. Made it to Miss Lucy’s Thursday night for the live music and was such a blast! Highly recommend to future guests. Jeff and Maria were wonderful and were very quick to respond and inform us on a few road issues. Will be returning in the future when we visit our daughters in the islands!
