Summary: This is the only hotel we have stayed in that made us feel at ease and relaxed. This hotel is in the middle of major tourist attractions, but never made us feel touristy or exposed. Celebrating our second honeymoon couldn't asked for a better location. The staff was very welcoming and attentive without breaking the sense of privacy and intimacy any couple needs . We arrived at 3:00 am and we had someone there to welcome us, take care of our needs and recommended the best places for breakfast and dinner with a smile. We came in and out at different hours and never felt uncomfortable by stares like some large hotels make you feel. Having a small restaurant on premise is a plus for those days you just want to unwind without travelling. We wish we can remember everyone's names that treated us like family, but we want to say thank you, specifically to Carla for accommodating us for a late checkout when the elevator broke down that allowed us to have our last romantic walk through the streets of Old San Juan while enjoying what our Island has to offer. Thank you Casa Blanca Hotel for such memorable stay. See you soon. WC NYC

Summary: Hotel has a very old European vibe too it. The room was nice and the AC was cold. The bathroom shower had a giant glob of long black hair on the wall (I’m blonde). It’s close to lots of shops and restaurants. The hot tubs on the south side are great very secluded and a great way to unwind

Summary: Quaint hotel. Showing it's age, but the location is ideal to be able to see old San Juan. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

Summary: Incredibly small room. No room for luggage, couldn’t walk around the bed. Not real clean either. Aged, needs updating.

Summary: I paid for a balcony and could not use it. It was noy cleaned by housekeeping and had pigeon living on it. Told the hotel and their response was we have pigeons all over the city. No hot water, no matter how long it runs. Dirty towels and no wash cloths provided. Toilet seat was cracked and stained. Furniture old, dated and soiled. Front desk persons do not care once they get your money. Floors were damp and I slipped on stairs. Again, told them and they did not care. Elevator takes more than 10 minutes to come up or down, which is why I took stairs. Only good things about this hotel it's location & great a/c! Not enough for me to return or recommend anyone to stay here. I wasted my time & money! I took photos, but don't know how to add them. Sorry

Summary: We really liked the place. It has a solid, unique charm about it and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had the double bed room with images of Gandhi on the wall and liked the overall vibe of our room and the corner views out our windows. It would have been nice if the windows had opened for some ventilation, but I understand they're historic and have probably been sealed shut for a reason. Though we couldn't have natural ventilation, the air conditioning unit for our room was absolutely one of the best and quietest we encountered on our entire trip! Loved that! The bathroom in that room is pretty tight. We're relatively fit and trim so did ok, but heavier people might find it too confining. Recommendations for the hotel owners: fix the toilet paper holder in the two bed unit on the 3rd or 4th floor because rolls of paper tend to fall off and hit the floor. come up with some way to support the wash basin in that bathroom. It is used by people maneuvering in the tight space to sit on the toilet. There've obviously been leaks and maintenance problems with it along the way, and one day one of your guests may leverage a little too hard on it, break it and fall or get hurt. I'm sure there's a better solution for that sink. :-) There was some sort of cleaning product that made the tile floors super slick - to the point of fall-on-your-butt slick. Whatever that product was, it transferred to bare feet very easily so there was a lot of it. A safer product would be great!.

Summary: This was my second time staying at the Casa Blanca Hotel. It’s a beautiful little local gem nestled within old San Juan. The lobby is stunning and the vibe is perfect for vacation. We love the rooftop tubs to cool down and relax. The complimentary coffee and water is great. The water pressure could be better in the room, but not horrible. So close to so many attractions in the city. My flight was delayed and I had to arrive a day late, so I called and they held my reservation for me. The glass elevator is cool. Next time I stay I’d like to try the cafe on the first floor. The attention to detail in this hotel always surprises me. I will be back again!
