Positive: Quiet remote location, comfortable hard bed, nice breakfast including gluten free items, good kitchenette for a day. Really nice swimming pool.
Negative: In booking.com and their own website the restaurant is open. However when we wanted to book for dinner, we got an email saying that it was closed. We had been driving a long distance and we wanted to relax, use the pool and have the dinner at the restaurant. After a lot of backwards and forwards, we were given a room with the kitchenette. In the room, there was a fridge with some water and a couple of small bottles of beer. There was no price list, hence we assumed these were completely. However, this was not the case and let an awkward conversation at check out. Finally, we had until 11 am to check, however the housekeeper was knocking on our door at 9 am asking when we were leaving.
Summary: Good accommodation, overall customer service could be improved

Positive: The cleanlines, breakfast and room size
Negative: The rooms have a strong smell of mould and can't really leave the windows open due to cow farms very close by, due to the smell and flies. We also had 2 dogs and when we enquired they had told us that this is possible against a supplement fee of Eur20 on top of what we had to pay, little did we know that this meant Eur20 per dog, per night and ended up paying Eur120 extra as a dog supplement for 3 nights! When we argued that they should have stated that the fee is per dog, per night, the staff were not helpful about this situation. I would have not booked if I knew clearly that we will end up paying an extra Eur120.
