Positive: Clean and spacious. Washer and dryer in apartment . 2 air conditioners. Quiet yet close to Esplanade. Lovely ragdoll puss “Bruiser” welcomed us at front office every time .
Negative: No dishwasher. Not much success trying to connect smart tv in apartment to wifi , only available at around 6am ! Perhaps try a stronger and seperate or mesh routers in each floor or just use a LAN cable .

Positive: Cascade Gardens generously allowed me to check in early due to the time of my flight. I found the room to be extremely spacious and had everything I needed. I found the location to be good, but slightly awkward - walking distance to town, but not a walk you'd want to do more than once a day. Overall, it felt appropriately priced and id stay again.

Negative: It really is self service - you get a notice when you arrive that if you don’t clean all dishes and remove garbage when you’re leaving you will incur a fine. This should realistically be noted here on booking.com in advance as the difference between hotel & self catering. Lack of stairs is a pain but clearly noted in advance.

Positive: Well appointed very clean studio apartment. Fantastic location with good access to all amenities of the city. Pool area was great with barbeque facilities and sun loungers.
Negative: We loved everything, but some people with mobility issues may like to know there is no lift ( only two floors though)

Positive: It's a good standard room for the price, with a nice pool area to cool down at the end of a warm and humid Cairns day. It's an older complex, but they have done some basic refreshing to a good standard. It's not a top $ waterfront Cairns location, but it's not trying to be and it's not charging for that either. Staff were good, and the in house cat was fun to observe chilling out at various locations each time we left the apartments!
Negative: Bathroom is quite dated, but all worked. Really, for the price point it is all quite good.
Summary: Good standard and decent sized apartment at a good price point. Short walk to esplanade.

Positive: We had a lovely big apartment comfortable beds Everything I needed in the kitchen Great location next to esplanade The only thing I would liked to have had was a mop and bucket The use of a washing machine was also very helpful And Irene on the reception was a lovely lady

Positive: This is an older property that has been well maintained. We arrived after hours and the key was waiting for us just as described. The bed was very comfortable. Plenty of AC and fans. Kitchen had everything we needed. Private off-street parking was available at no extra charge. Bruiser the huge fluffy Siamese who carefully positioned himself in the lobby for maximum pets was a bonus. It is also close to many great places to eat including MiPlace for breakfast and a Balinese restaurant for dinner….
Negative: There is no hotel elevator which means if you are on the second floor you have to lug your bags up the stairs. As my partner has a bad back, it was a small issue.
