La Casina di Teo is a small converted barn, 75 sq. m. and completely independent, holding up to 4 persons with a double bedroom, a double sofa bed and two bathrooms. The house has a large private garden, completely enclosed and furnished, with private swimming pool, barbecue and covered parking. Ideal for couples or families with small children.
External area and Swimming Pool
The house boasts a spacious 300 sq. m. garden, completely fenced, where you will find the private swimming pool which measures 4.5 x 7 metres with a depth from 0.9 to 2 metres, surrounded by a paved area with sunbeds and a shower with cold water. Guests can also use a shaded area with tables, chairs and a stonework barbecue for outdoor meals. Covered parking for 2 cars is on the property.Interior
The house is the restoration of an old Tuscan barn in stone and brick, whilst maintaining the characteristic wood-beamed ceilings and cotto flooring, and is completely furnished in harmony with the original structure. The interior is all on one floor, with just 2 long stairs creating a division between the dining and living areas. The entrance leads to the living room with large double sofa bed (170x190 cm), large fireplace, dining area with satellite TV and a cooking area, fully equipped and illuminated by a skylight in the ceiling. Rounding up the house are a double bedroom with private bathroom with bathtub and a bathroom with shower.

Casina di Teo is near to Monteriggioni, an enchanted town famous for its castle, not far from famous Tuscan towns, the Chianti area and the Via Francigena.

Summary: We had a very pleasant stay in this 'casa'. It is well equiped, very clean and very private. Giovanni and Laura are nice hosts; very flexible and hospitable. The only suggestion we have is to provide airco in the bedroom. Days with 35 degrees and up a fan is insufficient. But we loved the house and the location and would definitely consider coming back.

Summary: A great house where we felt at home. It a small house but where nothing is missing. A couple with a child are perfectly good. The house keeps being warm even when it is hot outside and thanks to the mustiquaire you can leave the windows open. 2 bathrooms permit to a family to prepare themselves at the same time. The kitchen is well furnished even though a oven is missing. Around it is very quiet and you can relax around the pool. On the opposite you need a car to go shopping and no shop is nearby. On the other side, the location is great to visit all the beautiful cities of Tuscany. I definitely recommend this house.

Summary: My Husband and I spent a week here on the first leg of our honeymoon. It was perfect! We had such a nice time by the pool and exploring the area. Laura was a perfect host, keeping us updated and making sure we had everything we needed. We will deffinately stay again.

Summary: We loved this place. Ideally situated in the middle of Tuscany, very central to see San Gimignano, Siena, Montalcino, Florence, etc... And at the end of a hot day, coming back to your own pool, made this perfect. Has all amenities, and were able to cook our own meals. Highly recommend it.

Summary: We had a really good time during our one week stay. The house could be easily kept cool and free of mosquitos while we kept ourselves cool in the swimming pool and enjoyed our meals on the terrace. The immediate surroundings are nice and beautiful. The more industrial area a bit further is completely quiet in the weekends and even during the week there are hardly any extra sounds or other disturbances. We enjoyed our walk to Monteriggione following the Francigena trail through the wonderful village Abbadia Isola. All the well-known towns in the region are just a few minutes ride: Colle di Val d’Elsa, Siena, San Gimignano. In the Rocca di Staggia we were informed about the history of the place as well as the location of contemporary art in the region. We would definitely recommend this place!
